Osmow's Shawarma — Restaurant in Toronto

I am extremely disappointed at the customer service and the quality of the food at this location. I waited at least 10 minutes for my order and it was the wrong order. I talked to them about it and at first they were nice and said they could change it but when asked, they said I had to wait an additional 5-7 minutes to go through the system again. There were at least 4 other people in the store. I told them my concern of the long wait so they fixed it and gave my order quicker. Throughout, the whole time we were waiting, the lady at the counter was constantly glaring at us rudely. We later found out that they got our order completely wrong because we ordered the student deal but they gave us the regular priced items (they didn't give us a receipt so we didn't find out until way later). When I started eating, I was even more disappointed. I am a frequent customer at other locations and always have positive reviews for the same order but for this location the food quality was extremely low. The fries were extremely dry and hard. It also looked like they were old fries that were over fried (very brown). On the same order, my friends box of fries were also over fried but the most disgusting thing was we found a small piece of hair that looked like either facial hair or pubic like hair. I recently dined at Osmow's, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The food and service were both outstanding.

Great food! I’ve always had positive experiences at Osmow’s, from their quick service, friendly staff, and clean environment.

I especially like the chicken shawarma wraps! The portion is excellent and they really do their best to evenly spread the ingredients in the wraps so you get a consistent bite every time! You can also get extra sauce, although I would not recommend that in a wrap as it can get soggy!

I visited here on National Shawarma Day for their $5 chicken on the rocks or chicken shawarma wrap—I’ve got to say I was impressed! Lots more traffic than usual, but they really beefed up their staff to keep up with demand. My order was ready in about 5 mins from order, and it was mostly my wrap that took a bit more time. Staff were coordinated and worked well together. They were also very kind, special shout out to the lady and cash register! She greeted everyone and had so much energy, I don’t know how she does it.

Fair warning that the spice levels here can actually get pretty spicy! I’ve ordered here before so I know my spice tolerance, but the cashier still warns you and makes sure you can handle it...
