Greek Mansion — Restaurant in Toronto

A friend recommended me Greek Mansion and being our son's birthday we ordered 4 platters only to find it very different from the Menu on their website. We were stuffed with heavy par boiled rice, potatoes which were not as shown in Menu( no red sauce, near dry potates) and the entree was a very small portion garnished on the top to make it look big. We ordered 3 Regular and 1 large only to find the large more rice and potatoes but same quantity of Entree. Very very disappointed as it spoiled our Birthday occasion and the food was not so authetic. The quantity of Entree hardly makes any sense which is very less compared to the huge quantity of rice packed in to make look bulky. To add to this, Greek Mansion charges 2% on M/C and if on telephone it is 4%. I believe it is located in an industrial area which makes it prominent as a Food source rather than a Greek authentic restaurant. I am not here to disappoint anyone of the regular customers but this was our sad experience as it ruined our Birthday celebrations. We recently came across Greek Mansion on UBER Eats. After a few orders they quickly became one of our favourites. We were very impressed with the quantity and quality of the food. Also so many options to choose from for any appetite.

Recently we hosted a Christmas family gathering. Since we enjoyed Greek Mansion so much, we decided to look into their catering options.

The Manager Jason was fantastic to collaborate with in helping us figure out what we needed for our event. Great guy! We got a tray of pork & chicken souvlakis, gyros, rice, potatoes, greek salad (with bottles of in-house dressing), Tzatziki (regular + spicy) hot sauce and pitas.

All of our guests really enjoyed the food and there were plenty of leftovers for a quick meal the next day. Everything was perfectly prepared and tasty. The reheating instructions were very easy to follow and kept everything tasting delicious and fresh.

Best Greek place in town! There are only a few places where you can find decent Greek food for a reasonable price and this is one of them.

For $18, you can get two sticks of chicken souvlaki, rice, potatoes, pita and a box of salad. This is a large portion. If you want a regular portion it is cheaper. They even come with two containers of tzatziki sauce and a more spicy, chipotle sauce. Everything is freshly made by the order so it does take a little bit longer than usual (15-20 minutes wait). Seems like the owner was training one of the workers there so expect a longer wait time than other places. You can substitute your rice and potatoes for other sides instead if preferred, like fries or vegetables.

Food was very flavourful and a very good portion to price ratio. Rice was soft and fluffy, potatoes were thoroughly cooked, and chicken was well seasoned with a grill taste. Pita was warm and salad comes with the dressing within a separate container.
