Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Toronto

We ordered from this location and it was the absolute worst experience ever. It was so awful, we haven’t ordered from them again since and won’t order from this location in the future. We paid for contactless delivery but the driver refused to enter our building. (We’ve been at our apartment for almost 10 years and never had any delivery problems with this location until recently).

He called us from his car then crank called us 8 more times afterward. We told him it was supposed to be contactless delivery and he lost his mind and started swearing at me. My husband finally went down to get it and the driver threw our pizza on the ground. Then the driver tried to pick a fight with my husband. However, when he noticed the cameras, he ran away and jumped in his car and left. Then some jerk from the store called us and started threatening us.

This location used to be our favourite. But now, I wouldn’t order from them if they gave us food for free. I also would never recommend this location to anyone. Ever. There’s a nicer Pizza Hut express on Royal York near the Westway.

This location is driving itself out of business as we also have about 6 neighbors who had similar experiences. Corporate did pretty much nothing. We will never give this location money for the rest of our days.

Side note: You may have noticed that the “owner” only responds to specific people. I believe he only responds to positive comments made by his friends. Unless it’s a negative review. But even for those, he offers no actual remedy for their concerns.

Also, the owner offered us a free medium pizza after the incident. But to be honest, I wouldn’t trust any pizza from this location. They definitely strike me as the kind of people who would do something awful to someone’s food. So, any food from this location will get a hard pass for the rest...

HORRIBLE management. This place is a disgrace to Pizza Hut. I made an online order and it took almost 2 hours for the delivery guy to come to my house. I called the store 3 times and the manager (Leo) was very unprofessional. After a long conversation he only offered to give a discount if I order again and hung up on me

Once the pizza delivery guy finally came to deliver the pizza, We had to ask the delivery guy to take the pizza back, since the pizza was cold. The delivery guys excuse was that he was stuck in an elevator, yet he had other people in his car with him and he laughed instead of apologizing for being beyond late.

I had to then drive to the store to ask for a refund. When we got to the store the manager was verbally abusive and he had zero customer service skills. The other employees had to calm down the situation. The manager also said "this is my place so please leave" instead of trying to fix the situation, and the employees apologized on his behalf.

I should have looked at the reviews before placing my order. As per other reviews this not the first time this has happened at this location.

The experience was so unbelievable that I had to put in a complaint with the Head Office. I really hope they do something about the...

If a zero was possible I would....the manager here is terrible goes by the name leo (not sure if its real). My sister had made an order online, at 715pm....it was 815 and no pizza came...she had called and the manager said 10mins which was okay so let it slide...another 15mins passed 830 and no pizza called again and he said it takes an hr to get from the location to our house... it's a 10-15min distance...gave us the drivers number and it was invalid number it's now 845pm and we were fed up and asked for a refund....this rude manager never said sorry or anything and said come to the store to get a refund. Drove to the store took me 10mins....and then manager says oo your delivery will be done online. Which wasted my time to grow with my sister....a complaint was made with head office as well for this location....I dont know how that manager is a manager he has the worst customer service skills and lies about everything he says....the driver is terrible as well as I was heading out the guy finally showed up told him his manager said to come to the store for a refund...I took the reciept and he went in his car. His car was full of his buddies as well very unprofessional. Once he went in his car he was laughing as well. Never will I do...
