Pizza Nova — Restaurant in Toronto

Ordered two pizzas for delivery (double cheese, olives, peppers). Pizza was delivered (45 min), and when I opened the box, after the delivery person had left, they were destroyed. The driver must have taken a corner too harshly while the pizzas were hot, and all the toppings slid off of the pizzas and into the corner of the box. Called customer service and they said they had put a 'rush' order on two new pizzas. An hour plus later, and we still have no pizza, so much for rush. When the pizzas arrived, I could tell that they did not have double cheese--when you order double cheese the pizzas are considerably heavier, these were not, even when compared to the double cheese destroyed pizzas I had handled an hour plus earlier. There are many Pizza Nova chains and most very good, but stay away from this one. Awful service, and clearly no consideration for an upset...

The last time I went in here (a few weeks ago, because my preffered place was closed), I could see that they'd refurbished the location somewhat -- boy was that needed.

And during the busier times of the day, you can get pizza here that represents most of the quality that I've come to expect out of the Pizza Nova brand.

But I always go across the street when I can. Cheaper by far, better toppings, and friendly staff.

The owner here, I can't help but think he's old and tired of it all, and just can't wait to retire.

(But in his defense... he DOES have two schools very nearby, and if the way the students are across the street is any sign, I would have closed up years ago. Still... there's another quite new Pizza Nova near my home, and the difference between here and there is night and day. And they too have a nearby...

Awesome pizza 90% of the time, but the level of customer service here from management to the forefront CR representatives, it’s just atrocious. I am all about diversity, equal opportunity, but when the person answering the phone on behalf of their company (Dominos) and has extremely poor verbal communication skills, this is problematic! When I as for a manager and I get someone coming on the phone to pretend that they are and falsifying their name, this is problematic! Having some talk down to me and accuse me of not know how to use the Dominos app, when I’ve been using it since it launched and order pizza almost every week, this is problematic! All in All - if it wasn’t for the convenience and lack of competition, I would definitely not be...
