Pizza Pizza — Restaurant in Toronto

Terrible Terrible!!!! I saw a special saying that any slice + pop for $5.00 plus a bonus of kit Kat chocolate. I have been having the same pizza and a pop on every Sunday for 5 weeks. Only 1 Sunday, I got a chocolate and the rest I don't get it. So today is the 5th time I ask for a chocolate and the staff told me is a different promotion?????? Secondly I notice that the promotion sign is hiding somewhere behind the cashier. Is that promotion suppose to be posted at the window??? Although a piece of chocolate is not a big deal but not giving out what you suppose to give out is unacceptable either. Thirdly, I wonder if the franchise fee for pizza pizza is very high or whenever the promotion comes out. The retail store is not making money at all. I have purchased a slice of Hawaiian pizza plus a can of coke. The regular price is $5.90 including tax. But I believe the pizza pizza has a promotion of $5.00 for any slice plus a pop and bonus of a kit Kat. With tax included is $5.65 Not sure that the owner need the difference of cad $0.25 to survive for this promotion period. Unfortunately the owner of this store just charge me for a regular. I wonder what's the point to bring out the promotion when your retail stores don't follow. Not only you will loose customers but also damage your reputation too. Therefore I suspect must be the franchise fee is too high or not making any money for the promotion which lead the owner to sneak every penny or a quarter into their pocket. Form I learn that when I purchase a pizza from other franchise. They automatically offer me a promotional discount without my request. From now on I believe I will purchase a pizza from Pizzaiolo which is located a few stores beside you.

Anyway. Brothers and sisters. I can't stop you from purchasing a pizza from this store but if you do buy a slice and a pop. Remember point your finger to the promotion behind the cashier. And say I want that promotion $5.00 with tax included is $5.65 IF Not, the owner will charge you an arm or a leg. Thanks for...

I don't know about other branches. But this branch was terrible. Visited the branch on 24 November at about 8.15pm.

Asked the price for the medium sized gluten free crust. The cashier didn't understand what i was saying. I showed him the signage in the shop which stated small gluten free crust was $11.49.

After going back and forth a few times, and him tapping stuff in his POS, he told me it was $12.98. I said okay iw wanted that with six cheese blend toppings. He had to bend over the counter a few times to see the menu to see what i wanted. Okay that's fine, maybe he's new and doesn't know the menu all that well. I opted for the Mozerella instead. I also asked if the pizza can be cut in squares instead and the cashier nodded yes. Afterwards the manager came and asked me to how to cut the pizza in squares and i googled and showed him a picture. It was nice of him to say okay and that he'll do that for me, which i appreciate.

After paying and i look at the receipt, i got the $11.49 pizza which including tax amounted to $12.98. So in the end i got the small pizza, and not the medium initially wanted. Communication was very tough and tiring in this shop and i doubt I'll be there again.

But thanks to the manager for cutting the pizza in...

Had a sign on the cashiers counter that read "Leave a Google Review and get a choice of either a Can of Pop, Dipping Sauce or possibly an extra slice (if i'm not mistaken 🤔)" yet when i went out of my way to go the extra mile and leave a positive review amongst a sea of recent negativity from other reviewers about this locations service in particular, the cashier had the nerve | audacity of denying me his end of the bargain, stating that "how could he know it was me that wrote the review", when i literally showed him proof on my phone and informed him when i wrote it too ! Which happened to be not too long before i've arrived there actually! 🤦‍♂️ Besides, in hindsight any positive publicity is good publicity....right⁉️ So remind me why it would've mattered who wrote it in the first place.....regardless of it being me ofc.

And oh yeah, just to top it off, the pizza was barely even warm too.

Now it makes sense why this location got so many bad...
