Pizza Pizza — Restaurant in Toronto

We have ordered from this location several times without incident. We ordered a cheese pizza and my young son bit on a small rock or piece of gravel.

We were shocked and phoned customer service so they were made aware in the event others experienced this problem so nobody else might potentially get hurt. We were also asking for a refund for the cheese pizza.

The customer service experience was atrocious. We were on the phone for 40 minutes speaking to multiple people. They refused to provide a refund and kept trying to force a replacement pizza instead. At this point it’s over an hour after we originally ordered and we’re no longer hungry and not sure we trust the safety of the food at this point. The conversation went around in circles and to our amazement they said they could not provide a refund for a $26 pizza order that had a piece of gravel in it.

At this point after 40 minutes we explained that their customer service experience was terrible and we had other things to do. They clearly didn’t think a rock in a customer’s pizza warranted a refund.

So, we will not be a customer at this franchise or any pizza pizza franchise customer going forward. This should’ve been a 5-minute phone call with the business accepting responsibility and refund and we would’ve been good. Now, we have a story to share with all our...

I don’t usually go to this Pizza Pizza, but I was in the neighbourhood and decided to order my usual: a large pizza with three drinks. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. As soon as I opened the box at home, I noticed an unpleasant smell — like the ingredients had been in the freezer too long. The pizza had a strong freezer-like aftertaste that made it hard to enjoy. Overall, I didn’t enjoy the meal and don’t plan on returning to this location. The service wasn’t that great either; four staff working in the back, and none of them could take an order at the front. I ended up ordering via the website inside of the store instead. A free bag of chips, drink or dip is not going to make me provide 5 stars for this...

The order taker was rude and didn’t wanted to acknowledge my coupons for free snacks and later told me that “he’s doing a favour by taking my order” that’s the way a guest is treated at this restaurant?

After reaching home I found the Pizza base is burnt. And the neither the toppings nor the cheese were appropriate.

When someone is buying food for money.. the food should be good. I got insult and cheating for the money I spent for this “PIZZA PIZZA” restaurant located at 1054 Kingston Road.
