Today my son and I had entered Fresh Burito to try one of the items on their menu. My son whom by the way is a minor had just finished his dentist appointment and he did not like the Floride that was on his teeth so next door I bought him a water and a can of coke. As we were still waiting to be served as I can see that the workers were busy, I cont to read the menu. My son then decided he did not want to arrive back at school too late, so we decided to leave. When we are walking down the street, one of the workers chased us down the street and accussed us of stealing the drink that I had from his store. He was yelling at us in the public area. We had no idea of what he was talking about. He thrn waved his hand at us in ager and said forget it keep it and then he returned to the store. I was going to ignore the incident but then decided, no I will address this issue head on. I returned to the store and asked the gentleman why did he accuse my child and I of stealing from them? He said that the other guy told him that we did. This other guy is a delivery man. The staff personnel proceeded to say even his co-worker said she saw us take a drink from the fridge. I showed them the can of coke that had the receipt to it. In addition, the store does not even sell coke. I was so upset to be falsely accused of stealing. Might I add that I am a beautiful educated woman of colour and the staff and the person who accused my son and I of stealing a can of coke from the store is of stealing is of "brown decent". So fill in the blanks. At this point I need to get in touch with the head office if it does exist. Three people from Fresh Burrito accussing my child and I of an incident which never took place is very scary and very cocerning. I ssplained to my child as he is a young black boy being accussed of such a crime is very serious. So much for Black...
Read moreI found Fresh Burrito through skip. I hardly order burritos that I dont know because they tend to be dry, or the ingredients tend to be sub par and it makes me feel like I wasted money. I had the garlic shrimp burrito, for the price, you get so much! The shrimp was juicy and perfectly cooked, and they didnt skimp on the skrimp. It didnt taste like fish (some places have fishy shrimp) it had the right amount of sauce, the rice was PERFECT! I also ordered the chips with guac and salsa, i added queso on the side, which was perfect for the quantity of chips. The dips were so fresh! So tasty, you could really taste the lime in the guac, the salsa was also so delicious! The queso was queso, you cant go wrong. I also ordered a slice of the cookies n cream cake SUBLIME I paid $37 (before fees and tax for delivery) for large burrito, cake slice, chips (guac n salsa) with side of queso and a manho Jarrito. WILL be ordering again. I enjoyed it immensely, by far one of the better joints to...
