I've been meaning to visit for a while and decided to stop by when I found myself in the area with some unexpected free time.

Unfortunately, I was really disappointed.

Although the website says it's wheelchair accessible, that can only be considered true in the loosest sense of the word. There's a large step to get into the building and though there's a sign on the front door that says a ramp is available on request, there's no easy way to request it without actually being able to get inside the building... there's no doorbell or number to call or anything and it's very difficult to even open the door to call in because of the step. It took me three tries just to get the door open and another two for somebody to hear/see me and get the ramp.

Of the exhibits themselves, there's very few that are actually possible to access with a wheelchair and even fewer that can be properly experienced in a wheelchair (Mostly due to the angle, height, or space needed). The main attractions that I was excited to see (The vortex tunnel, the upside down room, the slant room, etc.) are completely inaccessible.

This is information that should have been easily available on the website. I'd even have settled for a heads up from the staff at the front before going in -- just a "by the way, most of the attractions aren't possibly to fully experience from a wheelchair" would have been nice. Although the staff did offer to help me out a few times, there isn't really anything they can do to make the place accessible.

All in all, I ended up paying ~25$ (Thanks to the Presto pass discount) just to play with a few logic puzzles that I could have bought at the dollar store -- although the infinity...

I’ve seen a lot of mixed reviews about this place and after visiting I wanted to give an actual honest review. I visited with my girlfriend and we had an amazing time. This place isn’t that big since it’s family owned but I heard they are looking for a much bigger place to move to just so many condos are being built so it’s hard to find it. There are still a lot of things to interact with and so many photo opportunities. I’ve seen people say they spent 10mins inside yet when I was there I spent about an hour inside. There are some illusions that I didn’t get or know how to interact with but after looking confused a staff member came up to me and was laughing and said let me help you out which made me burst out laughing cus I knew I looked dumb trying to figure it out. He was super nice and took so many of our photos around the place and explained everything we didn’t know to us. The staff were really nice and literally just felt I was having a conversation with a buddy of mine not just an employee I just met. This place really shows you how our minds can get tricked by the way things are made and portrayed to be until you fully understand the concept. This place yes is expensive but what isn’t? For the the overall experience I’d definitely revisit with friends and family. The staff were amazing and the illusions were great to interact with. Overall people are gonna hate because they just don’t get it. Don’t read one bad review and think yup they are right. Look at the reviews for a generalization and look at the website and judge the place on your own. Can’t wait to come back...

It’s a cool space with lots to do from taking/posing for photos, wooden puzzles, instagrammable spots, interesting illusions but certain areas make it tough to take nice photos due the reflection sometimes other people may end up in your photo so try to go early or at times where most wouldn’t go.

I don’t suggest you go alone, you should go with at least one other person so you can see the illusions in the photos better cause by yourself you could get some nice shots but with one other person at least you can get some cool shots together.

If you’re going on a date maybe try going on a week day or early morning or evening or else you may get lots of kids running around or in your photos.

Most staff were friendly and helped take the photos but they should either ask how they want the photo taken or get people who can take photos and get the right angles cause some of them didn’t look great they just clicked the button.

There was a South Asian woman who tried to take my photo and I understand she was trying to help but she could have been more professional and said hey if you want to get a certain illusion through your photo try this or do you need help or suggest you should see X through the illusion, instead she insulted my partner by grabbing the phone and was like it’s like this and just started taking the photos and when I looked they were all slanted not even straight photos… like if you’re going to do all that at least take the...

This was my 2nd time going to an Illusions museum. The first time was in Vancouver. There were 8 of us who visited this location and we did a "walk-in". We arrived at around 2pm and the nice ladies at the reception/front desk advised us that it was too crowded and that it would be better if came back at 4:25pm which we had no problems with. There were 8 of us so it was understandable. Come 4:25, the place is as packed as it was when we first came. As much as we wanted to enjoy all the exhibits, there were far too many people around. For the size of the museum, it seemed we had to navigate through people and be wary of how we were taking pictures as like I said, it was way too crowded. I honestly believe there were at least 60 people in there. Aside from the crowd, no one explained as to how the exhibits worked in terms of how to take the best pictures. There are signs on the ground but in my opinion, who looks at the ground? So a lot of patrons were figuring things out WHILE in the exhibit which in turn takes longer for the other people to get their turn. The one in Vancouver had people by the entrance to give you the how-tos so it was easier to navigate. I had to teach my friends and other patrons that were not in our group. Anyway, it would be a fun experience but for a person who has gone to one before, it was nothing new plus add the overcrowding and lack of instructions and it made for a stressful day for me.
