I was invited to this restaurant last night by a friend that is a “regular”…and now I know why!!! The second I sat down, I was greeted by a happy team of servers. After food allergies and preferences were discussed, wine came to the table that paired well with what we ordered to eat as an appetizer (and it kept coming for the rest of the meal - each glass better than the last). It was perfect! The tuna tartare was probably the best I have had in the city! The polenta dish…as if I was eating it in Italy. The branzino was prepared with zucchini…which I have never seen or tried before…WOW…I can’t wait to go back and order it again. After meeting one of the owners and having a great chat over dessert and espresso, I have to say that they have truly created an authentic Italian restaurant in the city that should be visited by those who want an EXPERIENCE…not just dinner. If you want to nickel and dime and have a quick salad - this is not your place (although the salad was amazing). If you want an “experience” and are a “foodie” that is open and excited to try the recommendations of the house, then this is your place visit, as you will be well taken care of! I CAN’T...
