Smashing IT! šŸ‡ŖšŸ•šŸ˜‹šŸ•šŸ‡Ŗ The best pizza in Toronto Award goes to Salt & Tobacco! Phenomenal and outstanding pizza! First lets start talk about the delicious quality of the crust. The dough is the bread and butter of all successful pizza making. And the folks here at Salt & Tobacco truly understand that. The dough is properly chewy and crispy. The marinara sauce. They start with the best tomatoes. The sauce is light and tangy. The cheese, the basil the toppings are all of the best quality. So if you're looking for the best pizza in the city then you have to come to Salt & Tobacco. Nestled in trendy Cabbagetown. You can get a full pizza or a slice. The slices are amazing as well! Always fresh. Always tasty and great! And amazing customer service. So come on out to Salt & Tobacco for some pizza and support an outstanding business member of the community! Elbows up!

A good place for an afternoon with friends, good atmosphere and service, the food is fair for the price and the flavor is quite good, I recommend the hot honey sauce, it's not spicy, it just adds flavor, I had a good experience.

Salt and Tobacco is such a cute little pizza spot! The vibe is cozy and casual, and the service was super speedy—my pizza came out in about 10 minutes. If you’re a fan of thin crust pizza with that classic tip flop, this is definitely your place. The standout for me was the sauce—it was rich, flavorful, and honestly one of the best parts of the pie. I do wish there had been a bit more cheese, and personally, I would have preferred the basil added fresh after baking instead of cooked on. One thing I loved was the extras they provide: garlic-infused olive oil, hot oil, chili flakes, and even hot honey are all available at the table and complimentary for takeout. Such a nice touch that really elevates the experience. Overall, I’d definitely recommend checking this place out if you’re into great thin crust pizza and want something quick, tasty, and full of character.

Customer Service Is Important… So PASS

Last summer stopped by. Order pepperoni slice. Pretty good. Went back a week later to get another pepperoni slice. There wasn’t any ready but the guy said if I waited he’d make a pepperoni pizza - no problem because a lot of people like pepperoni slices. Sure enough people who came in after me order a couple of pepperoni slices. Third time I stopped by - a different guy this time. New guy said they didn’t have any. I said I’d wait. Guy said he wouldn’t make it. He had other slices with toppings I can’t get my kid to eat. Said I had to take his hoity-toity pretentious toppings slices or walk. Apparently no one else wanted them either as the looked like they had been sitting there for a while. So instead of making a pepperoni pizza (a normal topping that even kids would like) this delusional ā€œartisteā€ decided he didn’t want my business. Can’t wait until someone replaces this place - someone who doesn’t have an inflated ego and cares about...

Very nice atmosphere, really friendly staff, quick wait times, and amazing pizza!

The service really stood out and exceeded my expectations. Food came out very quickly, they had self serve sparkling and regular water, place was super clean, and most importantly, they served delicious pizza! Crust was amazing and consistent throughout the whole pizza. Tomato sauce was nice and simple the way it should be. I decided to try the vegan cheese option, which I thought was pretty close to regular cheese. The prices were pretty reasonable considering the quality. Providing 2-3 sizes of each pizza is also a nice touch in case you want more or less.

One more thing I should mention is this place is a hybrid between a take out and sit down restaurant. I personally think it works very well for this place and have no complaints. You order at the front, but they still bring you your food.

I can’t find anything on my most recent visit that would make me give anything less...
