The first time from Souvlaki Express the food I ordered was take-out. It was on a day I was busy having to travel from one place to another and all the places I had to travel to were not near each other and I was not traveling by car. By the end of the day I was tired and didn't have any more time to go grocery shopping to look for food, let alone cook. So I decided to get some food to eat from Souvlaki Express. When I reached home with the food and took it out of the bag, I suspected the food I was given from Souvlaki Express was a day old, heated up a bit however I was not that sure this very first time because I was starving and did not want to observe anything more about it or even think about it. My second time with Souvlaki Express was on Thanksgiving Day. I decided home alone on Thanksgiving Day I will get some food delivered from Souvlaki Express to eat. I placed a food order online and received an email from Souvlaki Express just a few minutes later with the list of the food I ordered and the price for it. The email stated that my food order will be delivered to me within a specific time frame. When that specific time frame passed - the food I ordered was not delivered to me. So I sent an email to Souvlaki Express of which I received an email the next day from John who is the owner of the Souvlaki Express. He wrote in his email to me that they were not open on Thanksgiving Day and that is the reason I did not have food delivered to me on Thanksgiving Day. I didn't eat anything on Thanksgiving Day by the way. I was relying on the food I ordered which I did not know I will not be receiving. The next time around, I called Souvlaki Express and ordered a vegetarian dinner. It consisted of sliced pieces of spinach pie, rice and potatoes, greek salad and pita bread. I also ordered baklava for dessert. Lets just say if the spinach pie was a day or two old - it managed to preserve itself well for me to eat it. The rice however looked somewhat pathetic - sort of mushy - as for the roasted potatoes - a day old looking - not hot and fresh looking, the pita bread almost cold vaguely warm. The tzatziki sauce preserved in a tiny cup of around 2 tbsp of it in it preserved itself well and so did the oil dressing for the salad. The salad was good. The lettuce did not look wilted. As for the baklava - it has lost most of its syrup. My third time (and LAST TIME) with Souvlaki Express - I ordered a veggie burger with cheese, greek fries, and a can of iced tea. The greek fries were highly offensive and absolute no doubt at least 2 days old. The fries were less than lukewarm and wilted, nowhere near looking anything freshly fried. The veggie burger was missing the cheese I requested in it. The burger for sure a day old - it was vaguely lukewarm to the touch - didn't look hot off the grill at all. If this were to happen to somebody else from which I know for sure that I'm not being lied about the experience - I wouldn't choose to eat from this place. I was really offended by Souvlaki Express. I think they are really embarrassing. If I knew people from Greece vacationing in Toronto and they were to ask me which place in Toronto should they get greek food to eat, I would definitely without a doubt not recommend Souvlaki Express. I'm never eating from this...

From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for a delightful meal. We decided to try the gyro wrap and the souvlaki plate with chicken, paired with rice and a fresh salad. The food was absolutely delicious! The gyro wrap was filled with perfectly seasoned meat, fresh veggies, and a sauce that added just the right amount of flavor. The souvlaki plate was a standout as well—the chicken was grilled to perfection, tender and juicy, complemented beautifully by the fluffy rice and a refreshing salad.
What truly made our experience memorable was the outstanding customer service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food they serve. They took the time to explain the menu and offered great recommendations.
