Ever since they opened, I went only few times and every time I ended up with more frustration. I hate this place, always too crowded, disorganized, and the few times I went, they messed up my order. No Customer Service @ all, the girls are so rude with attitudes, the people can't take orders properly, and whet's this sauce in little baggies? This is called "Desi Punna" get the proper container for the sauce. Today I went their again, not sure what I was thinking. Man oh man, I think I had a enough. So I called to order Chole Buttre, and I wanted to order the samosa also the guy said oh you need maybe 30 samosa or so, no problem we will pack it for you when you come. I asked the girl, won't name her that I want 45 samosa, she charged me for it and of course not sure why they charge 3% extra for credit card, is what the girl told me when I was going to use my MC, she said can you pay with DC. I paid her cash. She then told me that they don't have sauce for the samosa, which they should tell their customers before they take their orders, I told her to cancel my order, as I don't want them without the sauce, she got so mad and told the other girl to serve me, that was so rude of her, while all this was going on, I asked for a extra Dabbi of Chole. I asked for the price and the size, she showed me and when I asked her for price on each, for one of the container she asked the other girl, and she said $5, and she repeated to me $5, and of course I'm standing right next to them, someone else standing next to her said its $6, I said what kind of non sense is this? well believe it or they charged me $6 for it. This place ruined my evening today. BTW, I won't get into detail but last time I almost got into an accident after leaving this place when they got me so upset. I give them 0 star.

And as per the Chole Bsuttre, they were tasteless, I can make them way better then theirs!!!!!!

WOW!!! unless you give 1 star, it does not let you post your comments!!!

Anyway, my star is...

1 stars only for their samosas. They are more like 'Unchhe naam Feeke pakwaan'...

Friday I bought 2lbs 'Kaju Barfi' and food for 10 people... it was the worst sweet i ever had in my life... Kaju barfi was cutting the throat. It was all sugar no actual kaju katli...i always feel that this is my best barfi to eat now i hate it...pieces were sticking to each other so no one can eat proper...i got so embrassed when i was offering it to my friends in the party... Finally the whole box went into garbage... Now food... They are just running a fish market there... No one does proper customer service.. I told to add Ras malai and they put Gulab jamun for sweet dish...even i have a bill where it is mentioned...there when asked to change...they wantvme to wait and wait...coz no one has time to change it.... Salad they cut like as they are giving salad at Indian Roadside dhaba... No one at my friday party find the food good. I just felt embrassed and regretted.

Next day, I ordered my food from Sweet Mahal... I would say, it was a standard...what ever they mentioned it was all same...everything in plastic boxes and cheaper than this so called factory..

One more thing....your sweet boxes smells like diesel smell.... use some standard boxes and good printing on boxes...

Complete regrets to choose this place for food...so much embrassed...

Good luck to other customers...

I will stick with Sweet mahal from...

Best place for indian snacks.

This is indeed a factory as the first thing you notice is the line-up of people on weekends. I am not one to stand in a line-up however good a restaurant may be but I do not mind a 5-minute wait. And the wait is well worth it if you are a sweet-lover like me. The large selection of sweets offered at this restaurant is incredible, rows and rows of sweets, although most people come here for the samosas. As I mentioned in a review for another restaurant, I am not crazy about the automated production of samosas - I prefer the old fashioned home-made samosa which has more of a bite to it. As such, I usually order a Channa Bhatura that includes two bhaturas, channa masala and salad as well as their decent Veg Thali which comes with three types of curries, rice, raita, naan, salad and a gulab jamun. From the various types of Burfi to Ladoo and Peda, you can almost get any Indian sweet available in the market and while the sweets are always fresh on the weekends, it is a good idea to avoid the line-ups and visit them during weekdays. I cannot resist their Patisa sweets which quite frankly is the main reason I visit this restaurant. However they also make a tasty Malai Mango Burfi as well as Besan-made sweets, which are quite rich in flavor. I should mention that the sweets are also rich in pricing which explains why I did not feel the Samosa And Sweet Factory earns more than a 3-star rating.
