We’ve lived in the area for many years so we’ve had coffees here countless times over the years. Despite it not being my favorite coffee, it’s a nice location. But today was different. I happened to be walking by and got something in my eye. I remembered the Second Cup was close by so headed over to try to rinse out the dust or whatever it was that was making eye water. I asked a server if I could get a key for the washroom and was told to get in line while the server just continued to chat with someone instead of helping. Not a great way to treat a long time customer, but ok, I got in line while my eye continued to water. I waited, I asked politely for the key, and was told no, I could not until I ordered. Read moreI'm not going to badly review this place as I know how ratings impact business. However, I'm leaving these comments here in hopes the owner sees them. I've been coming for many many years.... The last couple of times I came, the bathroom was filthy, toilet rim so gross and the room smelled strongly of pee. You HAVE to maintain your bathrooms. Also one has been out of order for too long. I understand as a small business owner how tight finances are in this new climate, but some things are non negotiable and whatever business you are getting will quickly diminish if you don't keep up the basics (cleanliness has to happen). People DO notice, and if it continues, you're making it too difficult for people to support your business. I've seen that you do a standard automatic reply to good reviews and bad reviews, you should do better than that, so please spare me...
Read moreI hadn't been to this location in over a year when I stopped by twice last week. Apparently, the ownership has changed. I was served by an older Indian? female, mid-late 40s, with glasses. She was rude and clearly didn't want to be there. She got my order wrong. I tried to get her attention so I could get the right coffee but she was to busy looking at her phone, with her back to the me, so I just took what she gave me and left. Went again 2 days later, there was a different person, a male, in his 50s, grey hair and beard and he seemed just as unhappy as the woman who previously served me. It took him nearly 10 minutes to make my drink. If these are the new owners, they are in desperate need of customer service training as neither seems to have any. Oh and the place was a mess! Flies everywhere....
