Green Thumb — Local services in Toronto

Today, we went to Green Thumb where I generally like to go. I recommended the place to my friend and we went together today. She got one item and I got one item we put them on the table to pay. The woman at the cash register charged my friend for both of them which is okay everyone can make mistake. But then, when my friend ask refund, she started being angry and refused to refund her. I cannot believe that in the beginning. When I asked “ don’t you refund people here “ repeatedly other woman at the cash register told her to refund my friend. Fantastic selection of produce, prices are SUPER low and affordable and the quality of all the veg is always so much better than what you find in the chain grocery stores.

Purchased a bag of oranges. Got home oranges were not ripe and impossible to peel. Went back to either exchange for a ripened bag or for another product. Didn’t want my money back just something I could eat. Was refused any type of exchange. We visit this shop at least 4 times a week to buy produce.
