I usually dont like the taste of tuna sashimi as it can taste "fishy" but this one was great. Can never go wrong with salmon sushi. Didnt expect for the sashimi to be thick but I can't complain because it was great. The takoyaki tasted like any other takoyaki, nothing special to it. The udon soup tasted a little bland to me but the tempura was good. The restaurant itself was small but cozy. Had about 18 seating. Went there around 4:30pm on a saturday and we were seated right away. The lady who served us was nice and attentive. Good customer service 👍

I can see why my co-worker recommended this place when I mentioned I wanted some Japanese food after work once. Was covering in the area, and what I love about that part of the job is finding places like this. Good food, fair prices, fast and attentive service. Also, like that the mug was chilled when it came to me. Nice small detail. As someone who makes cocktails at home and always chills their glasses before pouring the drink in, I really appreciate it.

Bento was reasonable and the amount of food in it was great. Family fun, lovely waitress and prompt service. We'll done Maki, not too much rice and very filling! Would definitely recommend if you're in the area, special rolls are big.

Good food, great people, cozy place. Very tasty sushi with some unique twists. Definitely fresh ingredients and real salmon eggs which were a great surprise for me! This is a relatively new sushi restaurant to the Bloor West area, halfway between Jane and Runnymede. I ventured into this place during Easter Weekend with the hopes that they were open. They were and took my time with their menu as they had a lot of selections. I chose the fire roll along with the green dragon roll for takeout. The fire roll was outstanding and will definitely be ordering that again. The green dragon had a generous serving of avacado which I love and was delicious but I am dreaming of the next time I go back to order the fire roll again as my staple dish. Imo the best sushi in the Bloor-west area. The sushi is among the freshest for the low to mid price range that you can get (we aren't talking Kaji), the restaurant offers tamari for the gluten free crowd, and the sprouted brown rice tastes light and fresh. The sushi pizza crust is the perfect size and the right amount of crispy, and not too doughy. For now, it is among the best sushi pizza I've had and the place is very casual. They also show baseball and hockey on 2 screens for sports fans. Service is adequate to very good depending on the server, but I go for the sushi boats more than the smile... Today, I went to have lunch and ordered two lunch specials and a lunch set. However, when I received the bill, the server claimed I had ordered a dinner set and charged me extra. I was certain that I had ordered lunch and even used the lunch menu. When I questioned the server, she insisted that I had ordered a dinner set. Frustrated and with two kids in tow, I didn't want to argue further, so I paid and left. Since I ordered two lunch specials, why did the third item suddenly become a dinner set?
