Seriously, I can not understand what the negative comments are about. I ordered 2 small trays June 2nd of Veal Biryani for noon pick up. I was driving from Aurora, I was running 15 minutes late. I got a call sharp noon to say my Biryani was ready. I arrived, I was served with a smile; yes it was busy, I had to wait my turn for 7 to 8 minutes. I asked for extra raita, I got it ($2.60 additional). I took the Biryani to the function I was attending. It was fragrant, fresh, lots of meat, far more than I expected, good boneless large chunks too without gristle or fat. Biryani was excellent. Each tray was $50 including tax and 8 people can eat easily. With the amount of meat in there I am wondering how they can turn a profit. The taste and flavour reminded me of the Old Silver Spoon (Sheppard Ave) veal biryani of pre Covid. Perhaps the old chef is now there. Now, here is the kicker. Silver Spoon (Sheppard) have just bought out the Warden restaurant and. From next week, I guess their menu and flavour profile will switch to reflect what the original Silver Spoon offers at their locations. I know both Mansoor and Rizwan form 25 years ago, they own and operate Silver Spoon Sheppard plus 2 more branches and they have a successful business. I respect them and I sometimes, when in Scarborough, pick up a few items there. Their food is good too. I have catered from them on many occasions and I will continue to patronize them. But I respectfully believe, the Warden Biryani taste profile is superior. If that changes, I will miss the Biryani I got on...

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding a recent experience at your restaurant. I visited your location to order chicken biryani, but I was met with unexpectedly rude behavior from one of your staff (Boy)
When I arrived, there were a few people standing around who appeared to have already placed their orders or were waiting for Uber pickups. As there was no clear line or signage, I approached the counter when the staff member called "next," assuming it was my turn.
However, when I asked for chicken biryani, the employee responded in a rude and condescending manner, telling me I needed to wait in line. His tone was unnecessarily harsh, especially since there was no clear indication of where or how to line up. After I placed my order, he again spoke to me rudely, instructing me to wait until the girl brought the food for the others before I could be served.
This interaction was disappointing and made me feel very unwelcome. I believe no customer deserves to be spoken to in such a manner. If this kind of treatment continues, I will not return to your restaurant, nor will I recommend it to others.
I hope you will take this feedback seriously and take the necessary steps to ensure better customer service...
Read moreIf you're looking for a place that serves the most mouth-watering pulao and biryani in town, Silver Spoon is where you need to be. Nestled in a cozy corner of the city, this restaurant has mastered the art of making these rice dishes truly shine.
The pulao is a subtle, aromatic dish with perfectly cooked grains, lightly seasoned yet bursting with flavor. It strikes a balance that keeps the natural taste of the ingredients intact. It's simple but addictive, leaving you wanting more with every bite.
However, the true star of Silver Spoon is their biryani. The layers of fragrant rice are paired with tender, juicy pieces of meat (or vegetables if you go for the veggie version), and the blend of spices is both bold and perfectly balanced. The biryani is rich in flavor but doesn't overwhelm the palate, making it a memorable experience with each spoonful.
Whether you're a fan of pulao's mild elegance or biryani's bold spices, Silver Spoon delivers on both counts. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff only add to the overall experience, making this restaurant a must-visit for any...
