Ordered for pick-up and was given someone else's items (doesn't seem like anyone is double checking by looking at bag contents and order made before handing it over). It was clear when we opened it at home that it wasn't ours. We called and apparently the story was Uber drivers were randomly grabbing take-out bags without checking them, so the restaurant thought the last bag was ours...
They said they'll prepare our order and deliver it to us, which was a nice gesture, but I still can't get over the lack of double checking and I wonder how often this stuff happens. It would be great to see some more supervision over the take-out and how that's handled since that would be a win-win for everyone: Uber drivers get the right order, customer gets the right order, and restaurants don't have to remake food.
Well, at the very least, whoever got our order is eating good tonight, haha.
We eventually got our order....and found that they mixed up our taco â giving us shrimp instead of what we ordered/what's listed on the receipt (baja fish). At this point, we decided to give up and just dig in. đ We were surprised by how small the quesadilla was (about the size of my hand), pricy since it was $18!
(Side note: See photo of the shrimp, part of the wrong order. This might be the first time I've seen food like this packaged in this type of container. It was leaking a lot by the time we got home...at least use a container for soup or something to keep it from spilling, lol. Funny thing is that another item in the order DID use a soup container. I sort of feel bad for whoever ordered this if this was what they were getting. No way it's getting delivered unscathed, especially when it's super slanted if the driver's...
Read moreThis was my second visit, and once again, it was fantastic! We went for the All You Can Eat option, and everything was absolutely top-notch.
The food was still as delicious as I remembered, and the service was just as friendly.
Our server, Pamela, took care of our table even though it was a busy dinner hour. She kept smiling the entire time, never missed a table check, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the meal.
When we asked for menu recommendations, she explained the different types of sushi rolls, their ingredients, and flavors in a very professional and detailed way. Thanks to her, we had a truly satisfying dining experience.
Thank you, Pamela! I hope to see you again on our next visit. It's my first time visiting a Mexican sushi restaurant! We booked before but our group came quite late, so we ordered slowly, but the staff was really kind.
The food was really good too! I want...
Read moreMy partner and I stopped in specifically to try their Mexican style sushi as neither of us have tried it before. If you're a fan of cream cheese, this sushi will hit the spot for you! The rolls we ordered had a lot going on, which seems to be the theme for this style of sushi. To be honest, we didn't really find the flavors to work well with eachother and preparation was a little sloppy; however, quality and portions were good.
Service was super friendly and accommodating, and while we weren't huge fans of what we ordered, the hospitality more than made up for it! Vibes were great, restaurant kept clean, and decor had us feeling warm and cozy despite the cold weather outside.
Despite us not really enjoying the sushi, service and vibes were great, and they have a massive menu with a lot of other traditional Mexican dishes which look fantastic! There's most likely something on the menu for everyone and we'll definitely be back to try some...
