The pizza is totally unauthentic (one of those shocking high rated Toronto restaurants which is completely opposite of what people have described!)
But for sure you will find the authentic rudeness of an Italian server serving here! Who completely ruined my day💁🏻♀️! ( the one with beard & ring on the ear & chain in neck) !!
Let’s talk about the pizza Tasteless tomato sauce🙅🏻♀️! Not sure 🤔 why people compare it to Italy or was it because it was weekend they decided to serve an unworthy bland pizza! The base - nothing special, Infact thousands of better places to go to for just the base- North of Brooklyn, Badiali’s etc !! Cheese- nothing special at all !!
Oh let’s talk about the customer service-
We went in & NOBODY looked at us waiting, neither greeted us, as if we were invisible!! Well we felt like leaving right there but we gave them a benefit of doubt ! Called the server walking past us THRICE, & then he finally said- lemme talk to you in a minute! Oh well. Thank you for that favour
Sitting down, may be it was the owner who was nice enough apologised to us! I did read some review saying they do get complimentary bread while waiting for the pizza, hence i kindly asked if they do? The server presented us COLD & CHEWY bread which honestly i wouldn’t even feed my dog (sorry but it was SO BAD!) On talking to the rude server he answered “ As the bread is complimentary it’s like this”🙆🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ He did prove himself quite an amateur & an attitude which would never make me return to this place! If you cannot compete to work at a busy restaurant & answer in such a way , trust me, you aren’t going a far along !
I would honestly pleas people to stop giving false 5 star reviews as this pizza place is quite down the lane amidst the many other pizza places in Toronto !
Good luck to the owner & thank you for being nice, kindly train your staff to not yell & give insane replies for the bad...

Today, my wife and I had the absolute pleasure of dining at a restaurant that deserves more than five stars—it deserves a spotlight as one of the best dining experiences you could ever have! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the warm, genuine smile of Romualdo, the incredible owner who instantly makes you feel like family. His passion for his craft, his business, and his customers radiates in everything he does. This is not just a restaurant—it’s a place where love and dedication meet on every plate.
We shared the Quattro Formaggi pizza, which was perfection itself. The balance of creamy, gooey, cheesy goodness was out of this world—every bite was a symphony of flavor. And just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, we ended with the Ricotta e Pistacchio cheesecake dessert. I cannot stress enough how exceptional it was! Silky, rich, and layered with flavor, it was clearly made with love and attention to detail, like everything else in this place. You can taste the care in every single bite.
Romualdo and his team have created something truly magical here. If you’re looking for a place that feels like home, where the food is crafted from scratch with heart and soul, this is it. It’s rare to find a restaurant where the owner’s joy for what they do shines through so brightly—and it’s even rarer to find food this extraordinary.
Do yourself a favor: go here, eat here, enjoy here. You’ll leave not just satisfied, but inspired. Thank you, Romualdo, for such an unforgettable experience—we can’t wait to come back!

Their pizzas and their pastas!! Between the white and the tomato pizzas, I personally like the tomato based pizzas more. I tried both at this restaurant and it just isn’t the same without the tomato sauce. I know it’s common in Italy to have the white pizza, but I feel like it’s lacking the satisfaction impact you get with tomato and cheese combination!
The pastas, breads and the desserts are all made in house so expect the al denté pastas and chewy pizza doughs. The breads are like the pizza crusts but they cut the pieces in small squares and top it with some sprinkled salt.
I liked the linguine allo scoglio which is seafood linguine. The sauce is very simple and wasn’t heavy at all. The pasta texture was the best part, Cooked to al denté perfection! If I were to go again, I would try their other pizzas too!
I tried a white and tomato pizza each. The white pizza we tried was patate e pancetta which is potato and pancetta on the pizza. After trying the potato on pizza, it’s not for everyone because I thought the combination tasted weird. For the tomato sauce pizza we tried traditrice which had fior di latte which is Italian mozzarella, hot sopressata and hot chili pepper. Mmmm this pizza not only had a nice kick of chili hotness to it, but the cheese tomato and hot sausage combination made you want more!
Last tip?!
Try to see if you can make reservations when you decide to go because this restaurant does get busy. It’s located inside the Kensington market and ask for some fresh Parmesan and hot chilli oil if you want more to your...
