A small bingsu dessert shop. You have to go up some stairs to get in, so it's not wheelchair friendly at all. There's not that much seating. Was very busy when we went in the evening on a Friday night. After we sat down, even more people showed up behind us. The dessert shop was completely packed to the brim with people.
There are 3 sizes for the bingsu: small ($13), medium ($15), and large ($17). They even have the sizes of the bowls out as a way to show you what you could be getting too.
As a group of 5, we ordered 1 small Oreo Cheesecake Bingsu with extra cheesecake topping ($2), 1 Medium Black Sesame Bingsu, 1 Small Mango Bingsu, and 1 Large Coffee Bingsu.
My friends enjoyed and liked their Oreo bingsu and Mango bingsu. My friend enjoyed the extra cheesecake topping that they gave him in a small paper cup/bowl thing. They gave him a surprising amount of small cubes cheesecake. My sister and her boyfriend enjoyed their coffee bingsu, which had cereal as a topping. I enjoyed and seriously liked the black sesame bingsu. Very strong black sesame. All the bingsu tasted really good and of good quality too. The prices were reasonable for the sizes and quantity. The bingsu also layered the shave ice with the toppings (ie. black sesame toppings, shaved ice layer, black sesame layer, shave ice layer).
Definitely would come back to this bingsu location as everything was super good. Would have love to try one of their fruit bingsu and the green tea bingsu. They also have this very cute washroom, looks better in person. Cute pink and...
Read moreMy younger sister and her friends came to here to have a nice litte girls day and left traumatized… While they were ordering they let the server know that one of them had a severe allergy to egg and asked the server if what they were ordering(strawberry and red bean flavours) had egg in it, she replied that “bingsu doesn’t have eggs in it”. With this information, my sister and her friends decided on those flavours thinking that it was safe after the server said there was no egg. Her friend started having an allergic reaction after taking a bite of the dessert that was supposed to be safe for her and was rushed out to the hospital where they sent the rest of the day. As a business you should know what is being put into your product especially when a customer brings up such a serious allergy. This is completely irresponsible and could’ve had life threatening consequences. While I understand that people with allergies should be cautious when eating out, my younger sister and her friends specifically told the server that one of them was severely allergic to eggs and clearly asked to make sure it was safe and okay to eat. Extremely disappointed and will not be coming back...
Read moreSnowday Bingsu & Dessert Cafe is an absolute gem, truly deserving of every one of its five stars! From the moment you walk in, the owner's warmth and kindness are palpable – they were truly over-the-top, even letting my kids peek at the fresh-made snow, which was such a delightful and thoughtful gesture.
Now, let's talk about the food! The croffles are simply divine; perfectly delicious and wonderfully flakey, with flavor profiles that are truly outstanding. The pistachio croffle, in particular, was an absolute revelation!
And of course, the bingsu is a pure delight. The creamy, cold textures combined with the fresh fruit create an exceptional treat that's both refreshing and incredibly satisfying.
Every visit here feels like a special occasion. This cafe offers not just incredible desserts, but also a truly heartwarming experience thanks to the wonderful owner. Don't miss out on this...
