North of Brooklyn Pizzeria is a popular pizza joint known for its delicious pies and unique flavors. I recently had the opportunity to visit, and here's my review: The pizza at North of Brooklyn is nothing short of outstanding. The crust is thin and perfectly crispy, with just the right amount of chewiness. The sauce is tangy and flavorful, and the cheese is generously applied, creating a delightful gooeyness. What sets them apart are their creative toppings – from classic pepperoni to inventive combinations like truffle oil and wild mushrooms. I tried the "Spicy Bee" pizza, which had honey drizzle, spicy soppressata, and chili flakes. It was a perfect blend of sweet and spicy, and I highly recommend giving it a try. The ambiance at North of Brooklyn is casual and relaxed. It's a great spot for a quick, no-frills meal with friends or family. The staff was friendly and efficient, making the dining experience pleasant. While pizza is the star here, they also offer a selection of craft beers and soft drinks to complement your meal. It's a nice touch for those looking to enjoy a cold beverage with their slice. In summary, North of Brooklyn Pizzeria is a must-visit for pizza enthusiasts. The combination of quality ingredients, creative toppings, and a laid-back atmosphere makes it a top-notch pizza destination. I definitely recommend trying their unique flavor combinations for a memorable pizza experience.

I heard this place makes the most authentic New York style pizza in Toronto so I decided to give it a try. I'm no pizza connoisseur, but I feel I'm capable enough to tell if what I'm eating is a good pizza. Now before I get to the pizza, I want to talk about the garlic knots. If you look at Google reviews, the garlic knots have the highest amount of mentions so I assumed they were good. Big mistake. Turns out it's the opposite and everyone's complaining about them! These are by far the WORST piece of bread I've ever tasted. So bland and undercooked and impossible to chew. You can tell whoever made this did not have a good handle of the heat because of how unevenly cooked it is on the outside and inside. It was so bad that I wouldn't trust the person who baked this to touch my pizza. I repeat: DO NOT GET THE GARLIC KNOTS! Thankfully, my truffle pizza wasn't as much of a disaster as the garlic knots. Although there wasn't much truffle in it and it was definitely more on the mushroom-y side, it was tasty and I liked how thin the slices were. Not the best pizza I've eaten, but probably top 3 here. Unfortunately the garlic knots ruined the experience too much otherwise I would have given this place a higher rating.

My rating: 9.2/10. This is one of the best slices of pizza I have had in Toronto. The dough was thin and crispy, the cheese was melted perfectly, good sauce and creative, high-quality toppings on the pizza, and the hot honey they put on a lot of their slices is delicious. As far as the food goes, this was a stellar meal. The part that surprised me about my experience is that this specific location of North of Brooklyn is a ghost kitchen, and there are no seats or any standing room, nor a washroom or garbage or anything else you’d expect in a restaurant, you just walk in and walk out with your pizza. Furthermore, they don’t serve pizza by the slice here like some of their other locations do, you can only get a whole pizza made to order. I wish there were at least a couple bar stools and a place to hang out. If you want the by the slice or sit down meal experience, go to another North of Brooklyn location, but if you just want to walk in and walk out with a pizza (I waited about 10 minutes for mine with no line) this is the spot. I will definitely be eating North of Brooklyn pizza again.

I wanted to try this pizza for the longest time after seeing it all over IG and sure enough the pizza lived up to the hype. We ordered green out and it was delicious, worth every penny. The service was quick, they said 15 mins but the pizza was ready in 10 ish minutes.

Now the bad part, this location is in the basement and had no seating area, but we made do by standing near the entrance and using pizza boxes as our table, we didn't mind. We had parked our car near Nathan Philips square, so I wasn't about to walk back and eat a cold pizza. What I didn't appreciate was a lady working the back (she had pink hair) who commented that I am eating a pizza in the store while it is a take out joint. Nowhere was it listed that I cannot stand in the store and eat my pizza. She continued to yap away to everyone and made cringe faces that I'm standing in the store eating pizza. You do not treat someone like that, let alone a customer. I really wanted to go and confront her but I had my 2 year old daughter with me. She ruined this experience and I'll go to another NOB location but will avoid this one. The gentleman taking our order was so nice and actually apologized to us that they did not have any tables and In fact he was the only one who acknowledged my husband saying "the pizza tastes amazing" and my husband had to say this 2-3 times before he was acknowledged. Really? Get it together people, your customers' make your reputation. Date of...

So, I order from here a few times a week(Church location, They always make mistakes), been ordering from them for 3 years. I've made it a habit to always ask for them to under cook the pizza, as they burn pizzas frequently. I can deal with a missed dip or forgetting a topping but not completely burned pizza. I ordered a few days ago, 1 NY Cheese, 1 Pepperoni, nothing complicated, they were not busy. They said come in 20 minutes, my son was in the neighborhood so he went over right away, within 5 minutes. My son goes in to pick up a pizza, I ordered, he's waiting off to the side and I guess the staff was cracking jokes about my order and complaining about my request and why I bother them about the way they cook it. You might not wanna talk negatively about your customers when the person picking up the food, is standing right there! Stop burning pizzas it shouldn't have to be explained to you, not to overcook items. I'm a New Yorker, worked in pizzeria 10 years and this isn't how a Brooklyn Pizza is prepared. I only give 2 stars because the pizza was good, thanks to them following my directions on how to cook it. The rude staff and constant errors are ridiculous at this location. Hire responsible staff who don't get offended when customers point out they are burning orders! This place would be 5 stars if they could get a cook who understands when to take the pizza...
