After days of craving a true Dubai-style chocolate experience with strawberries, my search led me to a charming spot that turned out to be far more than just a dessert shop—it was a full sensory experience. From the moment you step inside, you’re enveloped by a whimsical, almost dreamlike atmosphere. Soft pink hues, adorable chocolate bunnies, and elegant decorative touches create a space that feels straight out of a storybook—perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth and an eye for aesthetic beauty.

Of course, the main attraction was the Dubai chocolate itself—a luxurious, indulgent creation that more than lived up to the anticipation. Fresh strawberries were generously coated in rich, smooth chocolate, layered with crushed pistachios and a sprinkle of kunafa, adding a delicate crispness and a subtle Middle Eastern flair. Every bite was a harmonious blend of sweetness, nuttiness, and texture—a true delight for the palate.

Adding to the experience was the wonderful staff, who made us feel instantly welcome. They took the time to walk us through their chocolate offerings, explaining the care and craftsmanship behind each creation. As an added touch, they even offered us samples of their house-made chocolates, giving us a deeper appreciation for the quality and passion that define this little shop.

Final verdict: Whether you’re a chocolate connoisseur or simply in search of a sweet, unforgettable treat, this place is a must-visit. The combination of beautiful ambiance, decadent flavors, and heartfelt hospitality makes it a true hidden gem. Trust me—you’ll walk in for the chocolate, but you’ll stay...

Stepping into Somar Patisserie is like taking a trip to the heart of Syria. This gem isn't just a pastries; and sweets it's a haven for the senses, overflowing with the intoxicating aromas of cardamom and rosewater, the warm smiles of the family-run staff, and the glistening display of handcrafted pastries that are a feast for the eyes.

The owners, a Syrian immigrant family, have brought generations of expertise to share with Toronto. Each bite is a testament to their heritage, whispering stories of bustling Damascus marketplaces and time-worn recipes passed down through loving hands.

Here, you won't find rows of generic sweets or lookalike cupcakes. Somar Pastiseries boasts a symphony of textures and flavors unlike anything you've experienced before. Delicate nugets, loaded with nuts, rose water, cardamom and with a perfect balance of sweetness is a must-try.

But Somar's magic extends beyond the classics. Every visit unveils a new treasure – perhaps rose-petal-infused macarons or melt-in-your-mouth date cookies dusted with cinnamon sugar. It's a place where tradition meets innovation, where the familiar comforts of home intertwine with the vibrant energy of a new land.

Somar Patisserie is more than just a pastry; it's a bridge between cultures, a celebration of family, and a testament to the enduring power of passion. It's a place where a taste of Syria warms your heart and reminds you that the sweetest things in life are often found in the most...

Came here to true dubai chocolate bars & dubai chocolate strawberriy cups. Absolutely amazing and the best I've tried so far. Strawberries were sweet and they weren't shy with the portions! This place was by far the cheapest i've been to for the strawberry cups. The owner was so sweet and gave us free samples while we waited. The place is beautiful, with a seating area and very clean! They had endless options of desserts and many items you can buy in bulk! I would...

Sweetest family owned business! The owner and his family are so sweet. My sister and I tried the viral strawberry Dubai chocolate cups and it was delicious 😮‍💨 not too sweet and just enough strawberries. We got half white chocolate and half milk chocolate. Some may say that the strawberries are supposed to be whole and not cut into halves but either way it was very filling. We plan to go back for more again today haha.

Beautiful store, amazing customer service and amazing food. I got the white chocolate and milk chocolate Dubai strawberry cups. The quality of the chocolate, strawberries, pistachio cream, and Kunafa is top notch. Much better than the one from Kunafa’s. Will only be going here from now. They also have a large variety of sweets and chocolates all neatly organized and displayed in their beautiful store.
