It is not often that I choose to frequent Starbucks cafés, but as I have mentioned in previous reviews, I still find that Starbucks cold brew is absolutely one of the best cold brews in the city. I would like this not to be the case, but so far, it seems to be the situation.
This Starbucks location also has a special place in my heart because of its determination to continue to serve customers safely throughout the Covid crisis. This location maintained their outdoor patio service during Covid and was a real refuge for people trying to find a good cup of coffee and a little bit of connection during Covid.
Another benefit of this location is the spacious, ample interior seating, much of which has very easy access to electrical outlets for people who are working or charging phones. Again, although I don't think that's the main thing people should be doing in coffee shops, if you do need to work, this space is well set up.
Other reviews note the staff at this location is very friendly and I find that also. My real concern with this location is that it is clear that the drive-through customers get priority over customers ordering drinks at the counter. It is my guess that that is not the staff's choice and that that is probably a corporate directive, but as a in-store customer, I find this offputting
All in all, a spacious café with a pretty good patio, given its location in a parking lot, and staff that seem to be doing their best to serve the customers and the...
Read moreI was not upset I couldn't find seat. They have a large space and definitely add more seats to make it cozier. It's one of the largest Starbucks locations I have seen but a major lack of seating, even cozy sofas. I rarely go to a Starbucks outside the downtown core. I came here because they had parking and it's close to my house. I was upset with how the staff spoke to me, as if I didn't know how to order a coffee. A gold card means you order coffee frequently. I asked for a tall in a grande cup coffee, because this way they don't have to spill my coffee to give me space for milk. Additionally, every Starbcuks when you ask for a splash of milk (soy or almond or cream), they ask if you want it steamed or not. I asked for it steamed and she charged me extra. When I asked why the extra charge when I only asked for splash she proceeded to just put me down in my place. Definitely not polite. When I got my coffee the cup was empty. It didn't have any coffee in it, just steamed soy milk. LOL.... I did order it in English. She fixed it, but my biggest issue with Starbucks is that in a world where dietary restrictions are a medical reason, we are still charging for soy or alternative dairy? Lack of seating, unprofessionalism, and not a cozy environment. I don't recommend this Starbucks location. There are so many more...
Read moreI ordered a Caramel Apple Spice through drive through. When I drove off and tasted my drink, I realized that I had the wrong drink. On my way back from running my errand, I stopped into Starbucks but this time I went in-store. I explained to the Barrista that I got the wrong drink and I should have gotten a Caramel Apple Spice. She apologized and told another Barrista to make a Caramel Apple Spice. She handed me a drink and off I went. After one sip of the second drink, I realized I got another wrong drink!!!!! Was not even mad. Called the store and spoke with Crystal who claimed she was the Supervisor. When I explained my story of getting the wrong drink twice, she was unapologetic and condescending. I asked to speak with a manager and she advised Garth would not be in until Friday. Her Customer Service is atrocious. Her words "I am not sure what you want me to do, we have alof of new people here. I can give you a refund or complimentary drink if you come back". There was no "sorry, this happened twice and we should have gotten it right the first time". At the end of the call, she ended up saying sorry in a mocking way. I will go back to this location one more time to get my refund but...
