The two stars are for the food cause it was so great. Service and experience overall was not good at all. We were sat at the table at the back that had the ceiling fan blowing full force at our face. We asked to move to another table with the same seats, our server kept saying it wouldn’t work cause of reservation timing which no matter how many times he stated it, it made no sense. Finally, after convincing him that mathematically it would all work out in the end, we moved out of the hurricane. One of the first things he said before even introducing himself was that we had a two hour time limit at our table and we had to be out by 8:30. This is something to tell guests over the phone when they make the reservation, it shouldn’t be the first thing we hear when we sit down to dine at a restaurant. We received an item we didn’t order but that was fine cause it was delicious shishito peppers. After being told on the phone that to serve our cake for dessert, there would be a $2.50 pp charge, the amount on our bill was double that. The server said it was cause the person we spoke to on the phone had us confused with another guest who was doing a restaurant buy out and the price should have been higher for a small table like ours. We explained that wasn’t our problem so they needed to honour what we were told when we booked. Finally again after us explaining, they did. Then after we paid and tipped a reasonable amount for bad service, the server told us we didn’t tip him enough and reminded us how much we left “just letting us know” which was extremely rude after the way the rest of the evening had gone. But, feeling bad for the other staff who had helped with the cake, etc. we left more money. It was not enjoyable birthday for my friend, none of us will go back. Food tasted great though so may be worth it for take away but definitely not a place to dine in and expect anything special but maybe it was just the one server we had, maybe he was new or having a bad day.

So yesterday evening was my second time at superpoint. The first did not disappoint. Last night however I feel like should be spoken about for awareness to those that run super point, and can hopefully see this to figure out improvements. We ordered 2 Negronis, a Cesear salad, and pep pizza. At first I thought our server was hilarious because he was super high. Higher than a kite. It didn’t bother me because he was doing his job and what he was meant to be there for. However - though I thought he was initially funny - his ability to actually carry out his job diminished. Bringing the salad out was no issue and is delish!. While waiting for our pizza our server asked us if we wanted 1 bill... He didn’t even realize we hadn’t gotten our pizza yet - and didn’t even fire it off because it didn’t come out for atleast another 30 minutes after that and we had been waiting for atleast 40. Server also didn’t bring the dips out nor come back to our table after that, had to get up to ask for my bill from the hostess. Evidently he was busy- but unable to keep up and was higher than a hot air balloon. And to top it off our pizza that we waited over an hr for was burnt on one side - see photo. I was not impressed with our experience, and for first time in my life I didn’t tip on a bill. I was so unimpressed, and felt quite annoyed after our experienced last night, a night that was supposed to be enjoyable with my partner.

Loved the pizza, had high expectations however left disappointed with my sister and my friend. We ordered the antipasto, endive salad, rigatoni, crispy eggplant, and spicy hawaiian. Antipasto was just drenched in olive oil and nothing too impressive. Endive salad is good for people who enjoy the bitter leaves. Dressing was a bit watery. Rigatoni would've been better if it was less salty and cooked a bit more. I love Al Dente but it was waaay tooo hard. Sadly disappointed. Crispy eggplant was just deep fried bread crumbs dipped into a side of herbs and garlic cream cheese. The pizza I was semi happy with but it was just a bit too salty, unsure why everything was a bit too salty and underwhelming. I tried their pizza slices while walkin by one day and loved it but was disappointed with the rest of the menu. Pizza is good but everything else, sub par. Will probably stop by for their pizza on odd days.

Super Point on Ossington offers a pizza slice experience that is, for the most part, good but occasionally leans towards the side of being a tad bland. While the establishment certainly has its merits, especially in terms of convenience and variety, it might leave some patrons questioning whether the flavor profile justifies the occasional waiting time.

The pizza slices at Super Point showcase a level of craftsmanship, and the variety of toppings and combinations available cater to different tastes. The establishment's commitment to providing a satisfying pizza option is evident. However, where Super Point can sometimes fall a bit short is in fully capturing the robust flavors that one would expect from a well-crafted slice. The taste can sometimes lack that extra punch that elevates a good slice to a truly memorable one.

Despite the occasional blandness, Super Point's pizza slice experience does have its merits. The convenience of grabbing a quick slice is undeniable, especially for those exploring the vibrant Ossington area. The ambiance inside the establishment is bustling and energetic, contributing to an overall enjoyable and casual dining experience.

However, the decision to wait in line for a slice might vary for different individuals. The value of time spent waiting versus the satisfaction derived from a single slice could leave some patrons questioning whether the experience is fully worth the anticipation, especially if the flavor doesn't entirely match the buildup.

In summary, Super Point on Ossington provides a pizza slice experience that is generally good, albeit occasionally leaning towards being a touch bland. The convenience, variety, and ambiance all contribute positively to the overall experience. While the establishment delivers on its promise of offering a satisfying slice, the balance between flavor and waiting time might make some patrons second-guess whether the experience lives up to the expectations. For those seeking a quick and convenient slice, Super Point offers a viable option, even if the flavor might not always reach the heights of...

We had been waiting to try this place for their pizza based on social media posts. In the past we tried to drop in and they had no tables available and we were sent away (in a rather dry manner by the door staff). We still gave it a shot with our friends on St Paddy’s day with a reservation in place. The guy who stands at the front door is quite dry and doesn’t seem welcoming at all. We got there 15mins early and I asked if we could wait at the bar and wait. He said nothings available while we clearly could see empty barstools. When we got in, they took a while to take our order and when they did it seemed like they wanted to rush us in placing the order. The main server was again not very pleasant and barely had a smile on her face and seemed like she was being forced to serve us. I don’t care who you are but as a restaurant you should show that you care about your patrons and should make them feel welcomed. What’s this arrogance all about? The pizza came late and one of them was clearly salty. Mediocre food so get over your supreme arrogance. When we did finish our food, we wanted to sit a bit longer and finish our drinks. But they kept coming to us and asking if we are done. Mind you, it’s not that we were past our time by any means. When we were leaving, we walked passed the same guy at the front door and he didn’t even say thanks for coming or anything and turned his face away. I don’t know what we did but it was a pretty disappointing experience for us, especially since we had high expectations. They need to work on their customer service and friendliness. We are spending money and you’re not doing us any favor. Train the tall guy at the front door to be nicer to everyone (not just select few people that are a...
