Nightmare after dinner at this place. The 4 of us met up here for dinner after reading all the wonderful reviews. Limited options on the daily shuffled menu suggested food should be fresh. We all had signs of unsettled tummy walking out from dinner (but no body voiced up until next morning, because we dont live together). All symptoms the same. We spent the night and half the next day hugging our tummies and running back and forth to toilets. Our dinner were 2 chicken rice, 1 beef stew noodle, 1 curry and one salad with 3 teas, around $80 total plus tip. All came luke warm, even the noodle and the curry. The yu choy (veggie, not the herb) in my noodle was 100% raw and does not go well with the noodle, should have been well cooked. Gladly I couldnt finish half the meat (I may have to spent the whole next days running to the toilets had I finished the noodle though). We were all southeast asians and south asians, who loved and are used to street food. To knock us down this badly, the restaurant must really have a serious problem with their process (at least on that day). There were only 2 table that time, shouldnt have caused them too much trouble serving. It was not that cheap to the point such hygiene standard could be neglected. Not coming back under any...

I am very please with this restaurant. I was walking around the area looking for something to drink, when I saw Thai Nyyom, I immediately thought to get Thai Iced tea.

OWNER: The owner Charles was very nice to talk to. He even talked about his plants in the store, which he takes care of a lot as a new plant mom, I can relate to this a lot.

AMBIANCE: The restaurant is humble but very calming and friendly. The warmth of the staff's welcome and their plants really created the space. The space is also very clean and well taken care of.

SERVICE: There were times when I came back and they were closing soon but still serviced me. Charles and his staff truly goes above and beyond of their customers. They also package your orders very nicely which I appreciate a lot.

FOOD: There's art and effort put into how they make everything. Definitely recommend for you guys to try their "chef special" of the day if you don't know what to get.

If you are around this area. I highly suggest to support and order from them! They opened in November of 2019, but the exceptional service they provide feels like they have been opened for many years.

Thank you, Thai Nyyom. I will be a return customer and will make sure to recommend you...

A cute tiny restaurant in the Dundas West/Lansdown area, with a small but delicious food menu. Staff are quick to assemble and relay the orders and they take credit card here! Would come back to try the rest of the menu.

We ordered the Thai Iced Tea and Chicken Rice to bring home. It smelled so delicious; that we ate our food too quickly to take a photo! The chicken rice comes wrapped in a paper-like material with the chicken, rice and cucumbers. The sauce and soup came on the side. The food was delicious with the rice, chicken and sauce mixed up. It reminded me of Hainanese Chicken on Rice. Their Thai Iced Tea was delicious and came in a handy plastic bag/holder for take-out. Do note, the lid has an exposed opening for the drinking and cannot be covered. Their menu has permanent options like chicken rice, vegan rice, khao soi chicken. Also, they have a chef's special that changes daily. No MSG too!

Their staff was very responsive on identifying any allergies and conveyed how long food would be. Their ordering system was easy and seamless. Their decor and the vibe...

THAI NYYOM is the kind of place that reminds you why authentic cooking always stands out. The menu is small, but every dish packs a massive punch of flavor and freshness. You can really taste the care and tradition from the Thai chefs in every bite... it feels like a home-cooked meal made with love. The pork tom yum soup was absolutely to die for, with the perfect balance of heat, tang, and depth that lingers in the best way. The mango salad was so refreshing, crisp, and bright... exactly what you want to complement the richness of the other dishes. Beyond the food, the service was just as memorable. Warm, cheery, and genuinely welcoming, the staff made the experience feel like dining with friends rather than at a restaurant. It’s the kind of hospitality that keeps you smiling long after you leave. If you’re looking for authentic Thai flavors in Toronto, THAI NYYOM is a must. It may be a small spot, but the heart, freshness, and flavor are anything but.
