The most horrible service I have ever encountered in Toronto.

I ordered through Uber Eat but this place does its own delivery instead of letting Uber do it. I live within 3km. After more than 70 minutes, I still did not get my food delivered, and it was a weekday. They charged me for canceling the order long after the scheduled delivery time. Long wait, no food, but got charged the full amount!

But the worst of all was how rude the man was. He did not talk to me in a normal tone, but was very rude and used all the tactics to intimidate me.

He attacked me with totally false accusation to cover up their late delivery. E.g. After requesting for an update through the Uber App (after waiting for more than 1 hour), he called and used a hostile tone to accuse me of not answering the driver's calls--not true as my cell phone record showed no one called. Believe me, I had been checking constantly after waiting for more than 70min . Then he suddenly changed his story and said I gave them the wrong phone number--also not true as all my contact info was stored permanently in Uber App. I have never had problems with any other restaurants. Also, how could he call me? Then he said I gave the driver a different number? But I never contacted the driver as all info was handled only by Uber App.

I was so afraid of this man that I was happy to pay for the order as long as I do not have to have any contact with these people or eat their food.

This was my very worst experience with a...

Update: i recently recieved a call from the owner and they were sad to hear about my food order. They offered to pay me back the money or issue me a credit. I took the credit as I would like to give them another chance. The staff on the phone was very kind and I'm sure the food will be better next ti.e around. Great customer service and won me over again as a customer. Thanks Thai Room.

Previous post: I ordered veggie pad thai and fresh rolls. The veggie pad thai was supposed to be spicy with extra cilantro and I got extra parsley with no spice. The noodles and vegetables were soaked and way over cooked. The fresh rolls 1000% were not made with fresh ingredients. Even the lettuce was brown. I'm sure they make good food but this was a waste of money. I literally threw it out shortly after eating it. It was that bad. To the restaurant: try a little harder on your delivery orders. I will not be ordering delivery...

Very disappointing & kind of sad. The food was very oily, salty & heavy. Nothing healthy about this meal. And it definitely wasn't worth $20.

The lack of customer service & mildly abrasive attitude of the young lady working there is the sad part. It makes me question the desire to support local restaurants during this bizarre time. A 'how are you" & a "thank you for ordering" is not difficult to say.

Life is always uncertain. This current time is really no different from any other time. Have's & have not's. Hi's & lo,s. Givers & takers. Providers & consumers. Builders & users. If your a local restaurant that appreciates the support of the Greater community, tighten up your operation & show some Gratitude.

People complained about a U.S brand like Chik fil a entering the local market. The food is always right & the customer service is always on point! Thai room Bloor west should...

This is a fantastic Thai food place located in the Below West area. I went there with a group of friends, and we all ordered different dishes, which gave me the chance to try a variety. Every single dish was flavorful and delicious. You can really tell the food is made with care and passion. The portions are generous, and the flavors are rich and authentic. On top of that, the atmosphere is relaxed, with a comfortable seating area that’s perfect for hanging out. Highly recommend this spot to anyone craving Thai food in the Below West area. You won’t be disappointed!

First time coming here and the food and service was amazing. You can’t go wrong with this place. It’s actually amazing.

Let me clarify that I ordered from here through a third-party app. The food was good but I think there are better Thai places. What I liked the most is the fried calamari, it was incredible! The oodles of noodles was good but the chicken was not that good so I only ate the noodles and veggies. One thing I really disliked was the crispy tofu, it didn't have nothing crispy! It was chewy like a gum and the flavour was really bad. I will order again from here just for the calamari but nothing else.
