Posting a critical review of a place is never enjoyable, but when it is about HEALTH AND SAFETY it is certainly necessary. The bagel looked good.. but half way through eating it, I noticed the red onion was looking off, and upon further inspection I saw that it was MOLDY AND FUZZY. At the point I had already eaten half the bagel (here's hoping I dont get sick). I brought it up to the staff and they said the red onion had oxidized?! Crazy to think they did not acknowledge the visible mold and even asked "what do you want? Do you want me to remove the onions?" Removing mold from a bagel slathered in cream cheese bagel is an exercise in futility. The first thing to do is to make a new one, and also check the rest of their onions. The server claimed she had cut the red onions fresh in the morning, but in a situation that concerns their patron's health, I think this statement is almost irrelevant. Eventually I got a refund and I made sure to tell them to check their red onions and the server said "they will check in with their supplier" which is strange since she originally said she cut the red onions herself that morning. It is sad to see a place serving food being so dismissive and careless about food safety, especially with visibly spoiled food. And to be so poorly trained with customer service, too.

Amazing flavors & terrible customer service. Not even sure they want customers, they just wanna kick you out the second you walk in, and it doesn’t matter which location, it’s always the same hateful look. The red roasted pepper cream cheese is fantastic btw!

Place is empty of bagels, bagels no longer made on site. Dark, humid and cold. Bagels served out of bags. Devoid of people and happiness. Will go to the better location on avenue. Avoid

Been here on more then one occasion as I live close by. Every time I go it seems like the staff are super miserable. This is evidenced by they’re lack of smiles. They also are always wearing one glove to prepare food not two. I don’t understand how cheap an owner has to be to only allow one glove!!! On the subject of the manager, I have seen him and his staff handle money and not wash there hands after then serve customers. I questioned one the girls once only to be argued with. I have also seen the manager count money on the place they prepare food and not clean it after. Also for the turkey breaky bagel again one thin slice of deli turkey is another example of cheapness and inflating the price to fit this mans ego. I honestly barely go anymore. If I do I’m hoping it’s under new management and there have been...

It’s unfortunate so many negative reviews. We found this place as we strolled along Eglinton looking for a small snack to have. You cannot beat the smell of a nice toasted bagel! This is a very cute shop with so much potential!!! We wiped the table to sit down… either the table was very dirty, or the table was old and the paint was coming off as the tissue turned very black 😔 The sever was very polite, very informative, and in comparison to the other reviews, we had acceptable customer service. The bathroom was very clean!!! I’ve been to nice places in Toronto and the bathrooms are disgusting, not at this place! Other than that, we enjoyed our meal, it was a quiet place nice...
