Tonight, for the first time, I introduced my parents to Burger Priest. Since my mom and I are vegetarians, I ordered two types of veggie burgers for us to share. Besides having ordered online many times before, I had also visited this location once with a friend and had asked them to cut our burger in half. That time, they gave us a small kitchen knife to do it ourselves. This time, when I made the same request, the girl there first handed me a disposable wooden knife, which was completely unsuitable for cutting a burger. When I asked for a better knife and faced resistance, I mentioned that I had received a proper knife from them before. After a few minutes, she brought out a very large kitchen knife, holding it from the sharp side towards my face, which was neither appropriate nor safe. After repeatedly asking for the burgers to cut myself, she finally gave them to me.

There were no napkins, and I had to ask twice for sauce containers.

I had also ordered a double burger for my dad, but we received a single one instead. Please don't copy-paste that email and phone number in response to my feedback. Your service and food quality are terrible.

I hope you don't spend the tip I gave you on something joyful, but rather on sickness and hospital bills.

Tonight, I experienced one of the rudest and worst services one could encounter at a fast-food restaurant. I will never order...

Slightly better than Five Guys, not as good as Shake Shack

Food

Burger: Holy Smokes

The panko crusted jalapeños were a nice edition but given how few were on the burger, you couldn't get them in every bite

The deception sauce was, well, deceptive. I didn't taste any sauce.

The patties were dripping in fat. Their only redeeming quality was the crust they had on their perimeter.

Fries

If limp, soft fries with potato skins left on are your jam, this is the place for you. For me, I'd pass on the fries during any future visits.

Drink: canned soda

I prefer fountain drinks with fast food. So, the canned soda was also a miss.

No straw given for the drink, non available where the condiments were displayed

No extra napkins other than the napkins on the tray accompanying the food

Service

Unremarkable

Wait time was appropriate.

Atmosphere

Nice enough, several tables on chairs, some tables with partial bench seating

Overall,...

I must say, this is hands down THE BEST BURGER PRIEST I've ever visited! The service was impeccable. Nikhil was the one who assisted us, and he was incredibly friendly and efficient.

The food was exceptionally fresh. My Holy Smokes burger was perfectly cooked, and the panko-crusted fried jalapeños still had that delightful crispiness and spice. The lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles were all remarkably fresh, clearly cut on the same day. The fries were cooked to perfection, just the right balance of crispy. The poutine was also absolutely delicious.

The restaurant offers ample seating with floor-to-ceiling windows, creating a fantastic space to relax, chat, or even work. The music selection added to the pleasant atmosphere.

The washrooms were clean and fully stocked, which is always a plus.

Furthermore, there's plenty of parking available right in front of...

First time having burger priest - (wanted to mention there’s a secret menu online that offers a couple more burgers that you don’t see on the in store menu) - 2 Burgers and fries for $32 and some change. Not bad.. the burgers were good, I like the bun they used! I’m a fan of picklely pickles and the toppings really fell flat on the burger. I also didn’t get their secret sauce. Maybe they would of brought everything together. The fries were lifeless, fried way too crispy … or refined/double fried and my mom also said the stern fries were the same with a little too much onion! Service was great and fast, I’d def go back and try something else… Note: There’s another location on Orfus Road I want to try, my mom mentioned them being slightly better since she’s tried both.
