Bought a twin and a single burger from Burger Bros Etobicoke for take out. After reading the reviews of this place, I was excited to eat the burgers that I got. Unfortunately, that excitement was short lived.

The pros of this place was that the burgers were made quickly. In less than 15 minutes, my burgers we ready for pick up. The burgers are huge and filling. It would be hard to not to feel full after having one of their burgers. The patties are fresh and are of good size.

The cons of this place was the burger and the service. For me personally, I found the sauce they used to be to overpowering. It is too spicy and strong for their burger. I cannot taste the freshness of the beef or the other toppings put in the burger. The patty is not put together well. It keeps breaking apart and falling out of the burger.

The service here was lackluster. When I went to pick it up, the employees were not so friendly. There was barely any greeting and got my ordered handed to me. Got told this is for me and they left to go back to their conversation they were having before I arrived. Not expecting over the top service at a burger joint, but some sort of interaction to make sure it contained the correct burgers or a greeting would have been appreciated. I didn't understand why the top of the bag was tapped with scotch tape until I opened it up and saw it was because the box the burger was in couldn't be closed. It would have been great if I could have asked the employees why they taped it as it was my first time there.

Not entirely sure that I would be keen to come back and try their burgers again. Hopefully, it was just an off...

I was asked to do a review, so this is an unbiased and brutally honest assessment:

  1. The burgers themselves are fine, nothing great, but nothing bad either. However, it was almost $16 dollars for a single burger, which is definitely on the higher end. The problem is, the quality doesn’t meet the price, nor does the size of the burger itself. It really is just the most average burger you can imagine, with nothing really special going for it. I was pretty disappointed with the portion size more than anything.
  2. When you get the food delivered, they put it in a little cardboard box that isn’t closer. The problem? It makes your burger exponentially colder. I get striving for making it aesthetically nice, but when you’re getting delivered in the middle of winter, it doesn’t make sense to leave the burger exposed the way they left it. Had it been wrapped in something to preserve the heat, it probably would’ve been a lot better.
  3. the buns were old. You can immediately taste the difference between a bun that is fresh versus one that’s been around for a couple days. It was honestly the first thing I noticed when I bit into it, just had that weird store bought, couple days old taste to it.

Overall, this isn’t a bad place, but there’s many others that have better quality burgers for a more...

Other reviews had mentioned the chicken sandwiches, so I went in and gave them a try.

Got the Bro-B-Q sandwich with some loaded fries. The sandwich was ok, bun tasted like something store bought, and the chicken had no crispiness to the breading. Taste wise it was ok, not bad but could be better.

The loaded fries were absolutely packed to the brim with their cheese sauce, so I gotta give them some credit there. The box must have weighed at least 3 pounds. Naturally it also had beef bacon and jalapeños on the one we ordered. Flavour wise it was decent, I think it was a bit light on the seasoning but overall ok. The fries had no crispiness to them whatsoever, probably because of the absolute drenching in cheese sauce, so there’s a bit of give and take there.

The one thing I’ll say about the service is that it took about 20 minutes for them to bring the food out. I have a feeling that they made it and had it sitting around for a little while, but that’s just speculating there.

Overall the place is alright, but if you do happen to be looking for a really good chicken sandwich, maybe...

I've tried plenty of burger joints around and The Burger Bros will always be one of my top go tos. Their burgers always fill me up, and the prices compare to just how things are now are pretty fair. They have some deals going on with Uber Delivery that I wish applies through pick up, I'd rather give the $$ directly to the store than to Uber. The location itself is small and it gets warm inside but they do have seats outside. In most cases we just pick up for to go, and or get the burgers delivered since we find that there are better deals through Uber eats. Maybe it might be a good idea to set up some kind of loyalty discount? we're always getting something here.

Glad this has opened up in the area. There is no parking directly in-front of the store, parking available on legion Rd. The menu is very extensive, everything from wings, calamari to different burgers (chicken/beef). Inside, there are only a few chairs available for indoor dining. I recommend ordering ahead as there was a line up. Tried the step burger (beef and chicken tender strips). Personally, I removed the chicken strips and ate them separately as it was the prominent flavour. The burger itself was very tasty, ample amount of sauce and other ingredients. I enjoyed both individually. Overall, looking forward to trying other items from the menu.

Nice clean location and super convenient as I live in the same building. I was customer number 10 today on the grand opening. I got the Bro burger and got my sister a cheeseburger. Service was spectacular and the gentleman taking the orders was super nice and welcoming. Now for the burgers, juicy, cooked perfectly, soft buttery buns, and fresh toppings. The fries were also thick, crisp but meaty potato goodness, and just the right amount of salt. Perfect early lunch while working (watching World Cup haha). I'll definitely be a regular here! Highly recommend!
