This is the second time I've taken food out from this amazing little place. I'm a vegetarian and there is always a variety of options for me. Their soup is fantastic! You must try the carrot/coconut/ginger soup. And I just had a sampling of every veggie samosa they had today and OMG. I intended to not eat ALL of them at once, but I did. I'm sorry I can't tell you the names of each, but each was very different and flavourful. They are small thankfully because you can then eat a variety of flavours in one sitting.

I also had a truffle of some sort (again sorry I can't remember the name). This was so tasty! It was light and crispy on the outside and packed with flavour with a lovely moist but crumbly texture inside. And at the centre of it there was perfect morsel of paneer? Cheese? Whatever it was it was lovely. So I ate 3 samosas and this crispy round truffle with a surprise centre.

What a treat!

So be warned -it's very difficult to control yourself. The freshness, flavours and textures are sublime. My soup was still warm in it's jar when I picked it up and I look forward to some of that for supper.

Now I am full but happy. If you have a chance grab a variety of food from this place and take some home with you -bring it to a friends place or just sit down and enjoy. I think I saw that you can buy 1-dozen samosas and get the 3rd for free. It's so nice to see special places like this thriving in this area...

I’ve ordered from this place for pickup on the order of 5-6 times. In general I like the food a lot and it’s kind of a go to for me when I want to take a walk. Recently however I forgot to get groceries so I ordered 2 dozen assorted vegan samosas. I picked them up happily, the front staff was nice. However, when I got home I noticed that almost all the samosas were in pretty bad shape. I could have messed them up a bit while walking but eventually I realized many of them seemed to have huge thumb prints crushed into them. Whatever, I thought they were still pretty tasty. They didn’t make me feel great (which, like, yeah it’s a bunch of oil and dough so that’s expected) so I left the rest for later. Had them the next day, same thing, feeling kind of gross after eating a few. Very obvious thumb prints in some, which I threw out. Furthermore I read some of the lower rated reviews and the owner admits to a few questionable interactions with their employees. The responses seemed pretty narcissistic. A 5 star review isn’t your privilege and swearing at customers with complaints doesn’t seem great either. Btw I did leave a 5 star review on DoorDash with feedback regarding my order and there was no response. So what exactly would be someone’s motivation to turn the other cheek when they notice sth sketchy about your business?

Edit: Please do not include personal information in your response to...

I placed a $75.00 order yesterday for my daughters camp counsellors. I requested delivery for the next day (today) wl The website gave me the option of pick up or delivery it took the delivery address and details and I paid online then promptly received a response that I will be notified once order was delivered. Today an hour and 15 after it was to be delivered I called to follow up and was informed in a very unbothered, wrong and strong tone that " oh yeah I have the order here but we dont really deliver anymore" my mind was blown, so my order was sitting there for over an hour. She did call twice ( at the time the order was ready) not the night before when they saw I placed it for delivery and not early in the morning to alert me to make alternate plans) and because I was busy did not get the call. The womans solution? I CAN PAY FOR AN UBER BUT SHE WILL HELP ME AND LOOL UP THE COST. This is after she said "yeah I asked them why the option of delivery is still on the website but they didnt change it" so I left my job and went and picked it up and dropped it off BUT she did compensate me with parting advice "next time if I want to uber it to that address it will only be $11.00!" Its unfortunate because I gave referred other this business but now foe only $11.00 they have lost a customer and gained...

I am shocked that I haven't tried this place before (kids always want McD's). It's been a long time since I've had my socks blow off by what I've eaten and today my toes are frozen! This was the most amazing plate of chicken and waffles that I've ever had. The waffle alone, made with rosemary and cheese, was truly amazing. The black sesame seeds on the breaded and baked chicken added such a nice flavour. You need to try a bag of the sweet and spicy pecans too, I can't understand how the spiciness is delayed like 10 seconds after the sweet, then savoury taste. The owner, Ash and his mom are great people who also live in the neighbourhood and understand the East York culture. Ash, I think this is the start of a beautiful friendship... or you might get sick of seeing me.

One of my fave samosa shops in Toronto they have very colorful samosa`s and amazing options. They have vegan and non-vegetarian Samosas and very deit friendly, offering halal samosa`s which are made without the use of peanut, soy, dairy, treenut, Sesame seed, egg and seafood. They also serve pakoras and panzerotti The amaranth beef curry and coral butter chicken are two of my fave meat samosa`s and in terms of vegan I love their vegan green saag paneer. I have been here often to say it is defiantly worth a try

Sometimes I’ll leave a review as a reminder of a place I want to return to and this is one of those. These are the tastiest treats. I bought a 6 pack of assorted ones and they were all so different and delicious. Served warm from the counter too ! Jerk chicken was my favourite and I’m pretty picky about this flavour. I’ll be back for more !! Oh and visit the Handwork Department a few doors down for some great thrift shopping! Now I have a new routine when I stop there ! Lol
