Cafe Cocoro is a small, cozy cafe located on the Danforth. The coffee and teas taste amazing and the pastries are just as equally delicious. I highly suggest the Cafe Cocoro special pastry, which is a Korean pastry, if you're looking for something that's sweet but not too sweet!
If you're looking for something a little more filling than pastries, don't worry. There's also larger dishes, such as their bibimbap and japchae to name a few. Need something to go? You can pick up one of their pre-packaged/pre-made containers of food (side dishes mostly, like kimchi and Korean pancakes) or order your food to go. Everything is well-priced with nothing being too expensive. Staff are friendly and often finish making your food very quickly.

But, unlike a lot of others, this one often attracts families and their children and accommodates those who need high chairs for their infants. This means that it might be harder to find available seats and a little noisier during peak hours. However, it's a great cafe for those looking to bring their friends or family to because of its warm and...
Read moreUpdate I probably wont come here anymore. I was going 3-4 days a week but the owner always seems frustrated that I like my coffee with two cream. One time she said that I can't even taste the coffee the way I take it... but there was barely any cream in it so I was confused. I told her that her coffee is the best in the neighbourhood and she said that people always tell her it's too strong. Well, if she's heard it's too strong, why is she giving people a hard time for wanting cream? I don't even think it's too strong, I think it's excellent coffee. But now when I go she just puts a tiny amount of cream in and says "okay" and closes the lid before I can ask for more.
She also says hello with her back turned and you don't know if she's talking to you or not. And she doesn't really acknowledge you, just looks to the next customer for their order. Anyways, I've probably gone about 20+ times now and sadly think I won't be back.
