THG's Hot Chicken Scarborough — Restaurant in Toronto

Update - I have been coming here regularly. The food is still amazing :) cam here during Ramadan weekend - my only advice will be come Early - at least an hour. I waited about 20 min to place my order - but then waited another 25-30 min for my order to be prepared and ready!

The menu has also been updated the do offer “hotbox options” I usually order combo 4 which includes 2 sandwiches a tender and fries - $20.00.

Well worth the wait - will highly Recommend!

Probably one of the best fried chicken burgers I have eaten in Scarborough. It is a hidden gem!

The food was fresh. I ordered a Nashville and Holy fries combo - $21.00 (no drink included)

The burger was crispy and decent spicy for hot. It worked well. The bun was soft. The chicken well marinated and cooked. The sauces enhancing the flavours. Not much toppings in the sandwich. But it’s not really needed. The burger is flavoured perfectly well for it to be on its own.

Holy fries - I got these as a combo with my burger - honestly not really worth the buy - it’s fries with lots of holy sauce and cheese - came with caramelized onions (didn’t really see or taste them)

probably best to just order regular fries and then get some extra holy sauce on the side. If you really want some fries with your burger.

The customer service was amazing! The people are nice friendly and patient. It’s great to see everyone working as a team without getting riled up with a lineup of customers. There was a bit of a lineup to order (30min)!- and then another bit of a wait before the order was ready (20-30min). Thankfully time went by pretty fast so didn’t even realize it was an hour.

Visited their new location today for the first time and had a great experience. I must say that my store experience was way better than their food truck experience. I tried their Nashville Hot chicken sandwich which comes with 2 crispy fried tenders, sweet pickles, coleslaw, homemade sauce and a slice of American Cheddar in between soft buttery buns. You can choose from different heat levels so I tried hot which was perfect for me. Tenders were really juicy and crispy, which perfectly complemented the soft bun. I would only recommend toasting the bun a lil bit so that it's not cold, because it gives the impression that sandwich will be cold but it wasn't, the chicken was at perfect temperature. You can have combo options which include fries and pop. I went with only a sandwich which was $12, it was absolute value for money especially in times of inflationary pressures. Service was phenomenal, their service commitment was on point which really makes a big difference and that's why I would prefer their store over food truck, my sandwich was ready within 5 mins . Staff was very humble, friendly and helpful with my selection. Keep up the great job guys....

WARNING! Proceed with caution ⚠️ , they're not kidding when the claim to serve the hottest chicken in Mississauga, I actually think they serve the hottest in GTA or even amongst the hottest in the world of hot chicken, I personally haven't had anything this hot/spicy anywhere in the world and I've tried a lot. We take pride in our tolerance for extremely spicy food and so we ordered the extra hot spice level which is not their hottest, just a level below, but we couldn't continue after a few bites, we brought yogurt, milk and maple syrup to our rescue but we're still burning inside out, had to wash our faces with soap, brush our teeth, and take gaviscon as a precautions. I think food this spicy shouldn't exist, because I can imagine some people needing an ambulance right after. That being said we got really humbled after trying this and next time going for a few levels below what we ordered initially. First we were crying and then laughing about it, nevertheless crazy adventure, ans socks that we couldn't actually enjoy the food and had to give up. But whatever that we did manage to eat was very flavorful and the portion sizes...
