drive thru and store are often found in a dirty condition, today the drive thru was disgusting with well over 100 cig butts on the ground, together with garbage - and the drive thru large sign and the walls of the building along the drive thru are covered with dirt/liquid - have tried several times to encourage the staff to clean up the drive thru and they are always polite and accommodating, but this is a systemic problem with this location and many other Tim's locations - my guess is they just get the business due to all the advertising and it doesn't seem to matter that head office doesn't do regular enough inspections to keep up an acceptable quality for a food franchise; have also tried complaining to Tim's head office and initially there was improvement and then eventually it just reverts back to unacceptable. Seems to be an area franchise problem, since the store staff are always friendly and efficient otherwise. As an update, I appreciate the owner's response below - but as mentioned I've contacted Tim's head office previously and the problem came back again due to insufficient follow up by the head office and/or the area franchise owner. I don't plan to contact the head office again, so please just follow up on this Google review which should have sufficient detail - including the photo that was attached. update March 12, 2025: drive-thru disgusting again, in spite of the above complaint - probably 100+ cig butts on the ground, plus other garbage; food menu sign very dirty - I'm stupid for continuing to go there with the lack of cleanliness, unfortunatelty it's convenient. The Franchisee should get a fine from the head office - just doesn't care. The inside is poor as well - dirty windows,...
Read moreMade the mistake of patronizing this location in the early hours of the morning late April, 2025.
Upon entering the location, I was confronted by a belligerent, incoherent employee who - after being oblivious to my presence for a full 2 minutes as he chatted on a headset while mopping the floor - took offence to the fact that I was in the store at all.
Deciphering his shouting beneath the thick accent took some effort, but from what I did understand, he was upset that I had entered through a locked front door.
I stated truthfully that the door had opened normally when I entered.
I wasn't able to understand what he screamed following that, but his agitation had spiked. He made a number of threatening advances, at which point I asked for his and his managers name, and let him know I had entered only to make a purchase and leave.
The male employee - who at that point clearly appeared to be mentally and emotionally disregulated - did not relent. He continued screaming. I wasn't able to understand his name when he yelled it out - but his nametag read 'Gursi'.
A second employee entered the common area and did her best to diffuse the situation. Her efforts were commendable, and kept the situation from escalating. She apologized for her counterpart's behavior, and helped me with my order.
I don't care to speculate on the decision making around placing socially maladapted individuals in customer facing roles, but toxic customer experiences like this are absolutely not acceptable or representative of any corporate policy I can think of. Franchise owners need to hold themselves accountable to a better standard, versus passively milking brands for a quick buck while ignoring everything...
Read moreI was reading through the reviews and came across one from someone two weeks ago adressing the rude skinny Tamil girl working at this location. Overall the staff isn’t too awful there’s definitely a few that lack any sort of customer service and don’t even say hi but this girl by far is the worst. I’ve had about 3-4 experiences with her where I’ve gone inside to order and she’ll literally make the most uninterested irritated face and say “what do you want”. I always always say “hi I’ll get a” and proceed with whatever I’m getting and say thank you because I’ve had such awful off putting service from her multiple times I didn’t say hi or thank you or anything and just said “ small icecapp” and tapped my card, despite being rude herself all the time & never greeting customers never giving off any sort of a friendly vibe this girl literally slammed my icecapp on the counter and walked away. It was in such an evident aggressive manner I was genuinely surprised and shook. This was a little over a month ago and I haven’t been back to this Tim Hortons since despite it being the closest one to me. The staff needs to be trained in basic basic manners. It takes one second to say “hey what can I get you today” and as for that girl (young Tamil on the skinnyish side) she needs a serious speaking to or honestly needs to be let go because it genuinely ruined my day having that interaction with her. And upon seeing the recent reviews I see I’m not the only one. Also side note the staff needs to be trained on making icecapps this Tim Hortons makes the most watery icecapps I’ve...
