This is review is long overdue . Tim Horton 3618 located Bermondsey Rd & Eglinton Ave E staff are a fantastic team of people. I’ve been coming here for 15 years so I seen quite a lot at this location which needed a rehaul of staff I’ve upon a time. As much as we post bad service we need to post great service. Ever since the new team of employees rolled in which might be a little over a year or so, their service has surpassed beyond my expectations! The entire staff truly has a great customer rapport not just with myself I see it with others from the businesses around, police officers, firefighters and dealer ships and just residence and families who sit and enjoy the atmosphere - the neighborhood people all come here because they make you feel at home. If an error or misunderstood order went through, they don’t accuse the customer or yell, they ask for clarity simply correct with a smile or light joke. They due their diligence to evade errors on the future orders and actually try to remember their consistent visitors orders like myself. The cashiers are on top getting those lines through on busy mornings/afternoons and listen to understand and offer suggestions at times with feature menu items - it makes clientele happy to return. I bike to Timmies weekly and they take the extra mile to make me smile and they know I don’t any eat cheese lol. Now, I don’t know Leon’s position but he is a phenomenal team lead and has an awesome sense of humour and you can clearly see the staff works well together and have sensational energy and are always friendly. I took the names of the staff that really need to be recognized for great service and going above and beyond like Leon. There’s also Dhruvisha & Kriti who always prep my order perfectly and also have a great sense of humour too - sometimes before I order I just nod and they say my order! Last, Caryn & Ellen are excellent on cash always ensuring the order is correct! So cheers to a wonderful group overall if I missed anyone my apologies - Cheers to the best Tims Horton’s team in Toronto. Thank you for your great service and setting the bar higher for other locations to strive...
Read moreI used to truly enjoy visiting this Tim Hortons location, but unfortunately the service specifically from one employee has become completely unacceptable.
In the past, I witnessed a staff member at cash wipe her nose with her hands and then immediately attempt to make my sandwich. I had to stop her and request that she wash her hands. Since addressing this, every time I return I receive attitude or poor service from this same cashier.
This morning was the final straw. I placed a mobile order and arrived to pick it up. I stood inside an overheated store for 10 minutes without being acknowledged. Another customer was also waiting. Instead of checking the orders, this same cashier instructed a new staff member to give my order away without verifying anything.
When I asked what happened and why the store was so hot, the cashier laughed with her coworkers and said, “Oh, we gave it to the other guy.” I explained that I had been standing right in front of them while they were chatting instead of doing their jobs. Rather than apologizing, the cashier became defensive and dismissive.
This kind of behavior is unprofessional, unhygienic, and completely disrespectful. It’s extremely disappointing because Jacqueline, the morning manager, is one of the nicest and most professional people there. Unfortunately, one toxic employee has created a hostile environment and ruined the experience for customers and staff alike.
Because of this ongoing issue and the lack of basic respect and cleanliness, I will not be returning to...
Read moreI am a regular customer who visit the store 3-4 times every week. Feel extremely disappointed today for their service and how they do not care about how customer feel. I bought a combo yesterday and got a coffee with half sugar and 2 cream. I order like this every time for the order. However when I took it back to my work place and found out the coffee was way too sweet and I called in spoke with one of the employee that I would come back the next day to get another coffee because it is not how I want it. He asked my name and said he would leave a note for the next day employee. I also told him I can't come back at the same day because of work. I would have to come back to get my coffee around noon next day. He said it was fine.
I just went over there today to get my coffee and the staff refused to honor me back a coffee. They said I would have to come back with the same time and exchange for the same time. I try to explain to them that I could not be back because of the work. They try to find out who spoke with me yesterday but no luck. In the end I just left the store without any apology. I probably would not go back to this store anymore due to this bad experience. I really don't care about the money but just don't understand how they can treat their regular customer who visit the store 3-4 times a week. Tim Horton head office should really be concern about...
