Today, I visited this Tim Hortons to enjoy a coffee and a late breakfast while catching up on some business. When I arrived, I realized I’d need a power outlet to charge my phone. Many of the available plug-accessible tables were taken by a large group of elderly patrons, but I was fortunate to find a quieter corner with an outlet, which allowed me to settle in, eat, and prepare for an important phone call.
Unfortunately, the visit quickly turned unpleasant. Halfway through my meal and while in the middle of a business call, the group noticed I was occupying a corner with enough room for them all to sit together. Without consideration for the fact that I was actively using the space, they insisted I move immediately, began moving my belongings without permission, and tried to relocate me to a table without an outlet — even though my phone was charging and I’d clearly made myself comfortable.
When I politely declined and asked to be left alone, they responded in another language and raised their voices, making the situation even more uncomfortable. Disappointingly, none of the staff intervened, despite the disruption and clear distress being caused.
I want to emphasize that the food itself was great — my breakfast was fresh, and I was happy to support the Smile Cookie campaign, even posting about it to encourage others to support Tim Hortons’ charitable work. But the lack of respect from fellow patrons and the complete absence of staff involvement to help mediate the situation left a very sour taste in my mouth.
I hope this location takes more care in ensuring that all customers feel safe and respected, especially when clearly using the space...
Read moreHonestly the only reason I give this spot 2 stars is because it’s close to my house, and because it’s consistent. Now it’s not consistent in a good way. It’s consistently bad.
One of the greatest failures I’ve experienced from this location was when I placed a mobile order on the app for a pickup at 5:55 am right before catching the bus. Too bad the store opens at 6!! After a minute of knocking on the door I had to abandon my order as I couldn’t afford to miss the bus.
Ive had other issues ordering as well. For example they’ll have the option to order a caramel cold brew but when I come to pick it up it’s not only not made but they don’t even have the necessary ingredients to make it.
On days when I do walk in however it isn’t much better. On some days you’ll have 2 staff members serving the whole store, and on others there will be upwards of 10. The thing that you can bet on 100% of the time is that they will be prioritizing the drive through, not the cash. I’ve had the unique experience of waiting for like 10 mins (no joke) before someone comes and takes my order. Even when there is someone on the cash, it takes an incredibly long amount of time to get the food. Does it really take 10 minutes to get wedges out of the heated bin and put them in a bowl?
If you want consistent disappointment make this Tim Hortons location part of...
Read moreI ALWAYS have the worst service here. Every single time.
A few days ago after the huge snow storm, I was doing a drive through to bring my parents breakfast. My car got stuck in the drive way, due to it not being shoveled, issue #1!
When I approached the window, the gentleman took my payment, and gave me one bag with what seemed to be half my order. He assured me that all was inside.
I insisted I check my bag, and my receipt. Without doubt I was missing 3 sandwiches and, was charged for them.
I began to get frustrated, then a child looking employee, who looks completely unprofessional, dirty, and out right disgusting, said “Ma'am, there is a line up behind you.”
This is when I lost my cool. This awful and rude employee really couldn’t care less about me paying my money, and not receiving my full order.
I was bringing breakfast to my sick parent, so I just fought and was charged again for another order which was incomplete.
Essentially, this location has stolen my money, and at least the manager tried to rectify the situation. I appreciate his effort.
To anyone who goes here, beware, and DO NOT be serviced by the downright pathetic, dirty, unprofessional, rude, and terrible employee, who has an afro type hair style. Calls customers “Bro”.
He needs to maybe clean the toilets instead of service...
