UPDATE: I gave them another chance. This time I ordered a steak wrap. Was asked to wait at the side door along ( as usual) with the other 4 cars waiting at the side door, where there are no parking spots, just a traffic jam of cars blocking the drive thru exit and the entrance to the gas station. After 10 minutes someone came out with my wrap which was filled with meat, tomatoes and sauce. It’s supposed to have a grain base of rice and (I believe) beans. What a disappointment. My coffee that was supposed to only have milk was black with a disgusting amount of sugar.
I live around the corner from this location and frequently stop here in the mornings on my way to work. I can’t say that my orders have been incorrect very often but it happens on occasion as it does anywhere else. What really bothers me is that I seem to have to repeat my order 3 times every time I go through drive through. Then when I get to the window they’re practically throwing my order out the window at me or yelling “NEXT ORDER PLEASE” in my direction as I’m still fumbling to put my debit card away. They seem annoyed that I’m wasting a full 5 seconds of time at the window. OR, the other 95% of the time where they’re not throwing the order at me as quickly as possible I’m asked to pull around the side of the building to wait for them to bring my order out to me. There are no dedicated parking spaces at all here they literally just jam up the driveway at the side of the building where people are trying to enter and exit the gas station. They do this regardless of if anyone is waiting in line behind you. I hate being asked to wait at the side so much that if I need actual breakfast I try to order quick things like a bagel and cream cheese. Even that warrants a wait at the side of the building for them to bring it out. I’ve even responded to the request to move to the side as “for a bagel?!” And been told yes. It’s a little ridiculous to be honest. Why have a drive thru window you refuse to actually serve any...
Read moreAs one who has successfully been self employed for over a decade, great customer service is a must to survive in today's competitive marketplace. Unfortunately, this Tim Horton's location and it's inept customer facing staff continue to struggle with the concept of 'What is Customer Service 101.'
In my opinion and only in my opinion I will explain further.
Poor Customer Service. I have yet to walk into this location and not having been met with a 'Just a minute,' comment while five staff members are busy serving the Drive Through and no one is serving the Front Counter. If this location wishes to continue to prioritize the Drive Through why not just eliminate the Front Counter Customer walk in option entirely.
Elongated Wait Times. Ridiculous. Five people working in the back Drive Through but it takes a Store Manager to come out, see a growing line and bark out, "Who's working the Front?" Unacceptable.
Health Concerns. I don't know if Management is trying to save money on this one but PLEASE install an insect screen on the back of your Front Counter Food Display. On more then one occasion, I've been in this venue and the donuts, muffins and other food stuffs is crawling with flies and other winged insects.
I've even gone to the extent that advising the store staff that they can't sell those items anymore in respect to public health concerns. My concerns only fell on death ears as the Staff members ran back to serve the Drive Through window.
Lack Of Customer Appreciation. Would it kill them to thank the Customer for their Patronage. A simple... "Thank you for visiting our Tim Hortons. We appreciate your business." Goes a long way.
In closing I'm certainly not impressed. If I could give them less then one Star I certainly would.
On a higher note. At least the Gas Station attached to this location is doing a great job. ...
Read moreI recently visited a Tim Hortons location in my neighborhood, and I must say, it was an incredibly underwhelming and disappointing experience. I had heard so much about Tim Hortons and was genuinely excited to try their offerings, but my visit left me feeling utterly dissatisfied.
First and foremost, the service was abysmal. The staff seemed disinterested and unmotivated, lacking any sense of urgency or attentiveness. It took an excruciatingly long time for my order to be taken, and even longer for it to be prepared. The employees appeared to be more engrossed in their own conversations than in serving customers.
When my order finally arrived, I was shocked at the poor quality of the food. The coffee was lukewarm, weak, and tasted stale, far from the promised rich and aromatic brew I had expected. The donut I ordered was stale and tasted like it had been sitting on the shelf for days. It was a huge disappointment, especially considering Tim Hortons' reputation for their coffee and pastries.
Furthermore, the overall cleanliness of the establishment was questionable at best. Tables were left uncleared, and the floors looked like they hadn't been mopped in ages. It created an unpleasant and uninviting atmosphere, making it difficult to enjoy my already lackluster meal.
To top it all off, the prices were unjustifiably high for the quality of the products and service received. I expected to pay a premium for a renowned brand like Tim Hortons, but I never anticipated paying so much for such subpar food and service.
In conclusion, my visit to Tim Hortons was an unfortunate letdown. The lackluster service, poor food quality, unclean environment, and inflated prices all contributed to an overall disappointing experience. I do not recommend this particular Tim Hortons location, and I will be seeking alternatives for my coffee and pastry cravings...
