Updated review: July 2025
I have visited this place a couple of times. All times I had a very good experience, and I never complained. But the way they treated us this time, I had to change my mindset for this place. I feel management got changed or what. We ordered the food, and we waited so long for it to come.
Even after that, when we entered the place, almost all tables were empty. Gradually, people came, and everyone ordered their food. What I saw after a few minutes, they got their food, and for us, it took longer than expected. When I spoke to the person at the front desk, the lady said, "Oh, we were about to serve you," even though she made this statement, we haven't got the food.
Once again, I had to step up and had to speak with the lady arrogantly, which I don't like to do. Then she spoke to the chef, and what I heard is, "NO ONE TOLD ME TO DISPATCH THE FOOD." I would say this is a failure of communication between the front and back kitchen, and who is suffering at the end? The...... SUPER SLOW IN SERVICE
Nothing else to say......
Good place to have different types of paratha.
This is a restaurant with veg/non-veg varieties.
We did try both of them, but I like the vegetarian option, and on top of that, paratha is the best option to have here. I'm recommending the restaurant's other vegetarian and non-vegetarian items since I feel the taste was OK.
If you like Paratha Wali Gali [Brampton], then this place is better than that one at a budget-friendly price.
Also, they do have a bar option; if you like paratha with alcoholic beverages, go for it. We did taste the mango lassi, which was good too. I would recommend that if you are vegetarian, go for any kind of paratha and lassi; it was a great experience.
Also, this place is located near Highways 409 and 401, which makes it...

The food is important but the experience is even more which makes me feel to come back again and again. I can definitely say that the Food is top notch, value based riched with very nice delicacies and even though its the restaurant but the quality of the food reminds of like my home.
I want to say thanks to Khushi and the team and everyone out there who is working day and day in and day out and to all the team members and the owner who have done such a great job with the place, makes me feel like homecoming.
I would like to say that I come from scarborough to etobicoke to their location because of that warmth, passion, and quality of the food is worth the travel.
They also have tiffin service under the banner Lal's Kitchen , and now its open 24×7 for restaurant operation.
I would highly recommend to everyone to please try it out.
In terms of Food i like everything i have tried so far but my most favourite is Goat curry, Goat biryani as their goat is so tender and soft and its very delicious. Also, their Butter chicken is delicious garnished with ginger and also please must try their chilli chicken too. All of the items are very tasty
In vegetarian cuisine I would also like to recommend to try Paneer Tikka Masala, Palak Paneer and mutter Paneer and chhole.
Guys, please try it out and thanks once again Khushi, Gagan, Simran and the whole team. thanks for being always there and your hospitality is nothing but the best...
Read moreWent there today with my husband and another couple. New decor (chairs and tables). Customers now have to pay for that. Prices have increased significantly since our last visit. We ordered one meal, butter chicken with roti for my husband and I to share. And the butter chicken had 4 tiny pieces of chicken in a bowl of sauce. Quantity has gone downhill, quality has gone down. The service is just horrible, staff can’t answer simple questions about the menu. Ask for separate bills, two couples, she had no clue what we were saying. Brought one bill. All four of us agreed this would be our last time coming back. Well find a new Indian spot. We were regulars here. A lady by the name of Natasha came to our table to ask how things were. Said she’s the new marketing mgr. I told her honestly that our experience was disappointing and we’d all agreed we won’t be coming back. She asked to us please come back, give us another chance, we’ll make it right. A good marketing mgr would have thought to themselves, I’m gonna force these people to come back, I’ll give them a gift certificate for a free meal to force them to give us another chance. Nope. Didn’t even offer a free dessert. Nothing. We came here at 7 on a Saturday nite, the busiest time for restaurants in Toronto, we were the only 4 people there. Well, this place is struggling to stay alive, and spending money on decor did not fix their problem, spending money on a marketing person will not fix their problem. People dine out now adays for two things: fair prices and good food. This place no longer...
