I ordered two lattes through HungryPanda, and while the drinks themselves were quite good, the service was disappointing. The female staff member was rude and showed a complete lack of customer service. She rolled her eyes at me when I asked about the status of my order and told me to wait.
I politely inquired if it was possible to make my butter latte cold, explaining that it was my first time using the app and I hadn’t seen the option to select the temperature. She responded in a dismissive and unfriendly tone, saying, “Yes, you can—but it’s too late now to change it. You should have selected cold initially.”
This interaction left a very negative impression, and I’m not going to return to this location.
*RESPONSE TO STORE OWNER
Thank you for your response and for taking the time to review the situation. I appreciate your acknowledgment of the issue and your explanation regarding your staff member.
While I understand that the drink had already been prepared and that there may be a language barrier, I’d like to emphasize professionalism and basic courtesy are essential in any customer-facing role—regardless of how long a visit lasts or what language is spoken.
Rolling one’s eyes and responding with a dismissive tone is not simply a language issue. Body language, tone, and attitude communicate just as much—if not more—than words. A polite and warm explanation, such as “I’m sorry, it’s already made, but next time you can select cold,” would have been entirely appropriate and appreciated.
Based on my experience, it’s clear that Lauren lacks the training and interpersonal skills required for a front-line customer service role. While I understand she may still be learning the language, customer service requires not just technical ability, but emotional intelligence and the ability to make customers feel welcomed and respected. Until she is better trained in both communication and customer service, she should not be placed in a role that involves direct interaction with customers.
It’s also worth pointing out that I am not the first person to raise concerns about the poor customer service from your staff. This suggests a pattern, not an isolated incident, and it underscores the need for serious attention to staff training and service standards. I hope this feedback leads to meaningful improvements...
Read moreI've tried their signature latte before when they first opened and it was good. However, their matcha is really really bad. It's strong but the quality of the matcha is bad so the taste is terrible. Super grassy and powdery. There was also a girl outside promoting bogo free, when we asked her if it was for drinks she said yes. We were looking at the menu to see what we shoudl get and she encouraged us to go inside. When we went inside to order, we asked if there was bogo free and the girl said "no, do you see anything about promotions inside our store?" and I just said oh, the girl outside told us there was. and she repeated exactly "No, there's no promotion inside" then proceeded to tell us to go outside to the ask the girl again. I was very confused at this point and asked if theyre affiliated seeing as they're clearly working for the same store and she just said "you can go outside to ask her maybe it's different". The girl was also vaping and blowing out so much smoke when I was ordering. Hungry Panda is doing so many businesses dirty with their poor service and misleading marketing, and the staff inside the cafe was also not very helpful.

Read moreI visit Togo Coffee Shop at least three times a week, and it has become a routine I look forward to. This café never disappoints, from its excellent service to the quality of its drinks. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy, making it the perfect spot for unwinding or getting some light work done. The lemon tea and coffee are my absolute favorites. The lemon tea is refreshing and perfectly balanced between sweet and tangy, leaving me feeling revitalized every time. As for the coffee, it's rich, aromatic, and always perfectly brewed, making it a must-try for any coffee lover. The staff is always friendly and attentive, greeting customers with warm smiles that make you feel right at home. Each visit to Togo feels like returning to a familiar and comforting space. Overall, Togo Coffee Shop offers not only high-quality drinks but also a pleasant environment. I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates good coffee and a welcoming atmosphere.
