Cool neighbourhood spot. 15 dollar cocktails, good menu, paper planes, negroni's, old fashions, espresso martinis, all the core ones every good cocktail bar should have. I think it's also a cafe during the day. They had a live DJ playing some Berlin type music not too loud which was a nice touch. There is some seating space in front of the patio, and next to the building to hang out. Tall beer cans and cocktails are 7-8 bucks which is a good deal. They have some non-alcoholic beers too which is nice. Inside has that cool vintage hipster Berlin feel to it. No cover, no lineups, just a nice local neighbourhood bar near the bridge and a bunch of other autoshops. Was walking back from an art gallery and we just literally stumbled upon it and sat down for a catch up drink. I feel like Toronto needs more places like this. Quiet neighbourhood bars with a nice selection of music, quality cocktails, not too expensive, no lines ups. Nice slightly mature place for people to catch up and have a drink without having to venture heavily into the Dundas West bar scene where it's way more hectic. Probably fits like 20 people so it's nice and intimate. Kind of reminds me of some of the bottle shops in Montreal where you can either drink it there and vibe or take it to the park right next to it. Place has some character to it. Would like to see it have a good solid run in Toronto's independent bar scene and be supported by the neighbourhood. Next time I'm back I'll try out the cocktail menu and see if that's fire too. Can selection was interesting. I got a fruit punch vodka seltzer with 2 grams of sugar which was good. LBGTQ+ friendly but open to anybody really. Still has that cool Dundas West OG grunge premium dive bar feel all the hipsters like me enjoy. Keep up the great work Tommy!

It was a somewhat wonderful accident that brought me to Tommy's latter on a Sunday afternoon in the summer. I was searching all over High Park and Parkdale for a good coffee and found that nothing was open past about 2 o'clock on a Sunday. Luckily, Tommy's was open and it was a wonderful find. The location is on a somewhat busy and unassuming corner with a lot of street car traffic . The outside of the store is obviously a vintage convenience store and the inside continues that funky, vintage feel My barista was absolutely charming and informative about all aspects of the coffee which was being brewed. The café uses Reunion coffee and the iced Americano which was made for me was absolutely perfect. The location serves as a bar also and has a few other items for sale and a small pastry selection. All of it looked delicious. I sat outside at their roadside tables and, given the location it is a somewhat busy patio experience. It is however true to the very urban vintage vibe of the café! I have always thought that Torontan's need to embrace the idea of a " local "for our coffee. That very special neighbourhood place where the barista is going to get to know your name and will automatically make your drink as you walk in. Tommy's would absolutely be my local if I lived close enough. I certainly will be returning to try some of their hot espresso drinks in the very near future

This spot is a neighbourhood gem in the Sorauren neighbourhood. Pop in for craft brews and a variety of special wines and cocktails, and add something from the warming display - it’s most often empanadas and I’ve never been disappointed with the local treats they feature. The space is small but welcoming with just a few tables and a couple bar stools; many come in for grab and go (which is a great option when en route to somewhere). My favourite is to have a glass of wine on one of the picnic benches out front. The staff are friendly and helpful with recommendations. I love the Amanda Bynes cutout beside the cooler (just go to see what I mean… this is where kitsch and fun converge)! Nice stop when visiting the nearby Modern Arts Museum or the Sorauren farmers market. Conveniently on Dundas for the streetcar, and city bike rentals are across the street.
