I came in Saturday 15 minutes before closing and ordered a Bearcat with medium fries. I was told that I had to order my food to go because they were closing in 10 minutes. That's fine....except every table in the restaurant except two were full, and people were getting their orders to dine-in-one table getting their order less than two minutes before mine-and they were all allowed to dine-in. I was the only person that wasn't allowed to dine-in. One table even complained about their order and was getting a complimentary burger for free, which or course they were getting to dine-in-which they would receive well after I got my order. So out of the entire restaurant, I was the ONLY person not allowed to dine-in. Not cool. What kind of customer service is this?
So I got home and of course my fries were soggy from the type of container they used. The burger had good meat for the patty, but as you can see in the pictures, the onions were a confusing slab of a mess on the bottom of the bun. So I essentially paid $21 for a confused burger and soggy fries that I had to take home to eat while everyone else got to eat their food in the restaurant. Needless to say, I will never be returning to this place. I'll go try the Top Gun Burger on Augusta Ave, but the Lawerence Ave location? I'm done. They clearly only value certain customers here, and I'm not one of them. Certainly one of the most unwelcoming experiences I have ever had at...

The burger was messy, sloppy and came with no wrapping, it all collapsed and just fell apart. The meat was soggy.
The poutine was the worst. I'm a poutine fanatic so I know my poutines... The gravy was black & weird in texture... cheese was not melted & the fries were not the right poutine fries either. I had to microwave it at home to make the mashed potato textured gravy melt the cheese.
Was disgusting & I got really sick that night ended up vomiting early morning. It was definitely this food. So disappointing & will avoid this place at all costs... Wish I could post photos of that horror of a "poutine''.
Edit: Found a way to upload photos, see for yourself. Got horrible food poisoning, I think you can see why.
Top Gun Burger used to have my favorite burgers. I went to the Kensington location mostly and it was always excellent food, so when I heard that a location closer to me was opening I was very excited. The first few times I went to the Scarborough location after they just opened the food was just as good as the Kensington. I didn't go for a few months and went back again 2 times this month. And WOW I was shocked that the quality of the food was TERRIBLE. I mean it just collapsed. They are NOT the same burgers, not cooked the same, don't look the same, don't taste the same. Its evident that the quality and preparation of the food for whatever reason has utterly gone downhill. When I went this week with my wife we were the only people in the restaurant, and the order wasn't correct (which was not a huge deal), but the food again was just not the same and not good. I couldn't even finish it and asked for a refund. I looked at the kitchen and you could see the people making the food just didn't seem like they wanted to be there. Its very disappointing, I won't be going here again (at least not to...
