Update : Well after I posted the review few days later I heard back from the Manager and he apologised and wanted to make it right. Mind you I love in Durham and he did too. But offered to travel and meet me at the store at the chosing of my time. He met me at the store when I asked him too. He told me he looked at the footage and wants to make it right. While he remade the poutine with Portuguese chicken on top he let me try the Lokma (Turkish round donuts) one with a pistachio cream and the other with hazelnut vanilla cream. Both were made fresh and very delicious. I would highly recommend them. The poutine was made properly this time with actual gravy not drenched in barbecue sauce and good amount of curds and the chicken was done just right. It was delicious. I have had a lot of poutine around Canada but this was one of my favorites. Now I don't have a problem when people make mistake or the service has issues when people are willing to make it right, because that takes courage and maturity and caring for your customers and your product and your business and that in my books is amazing. So I would highly recommend this place. Much respect to the owners and the manager. You guys truly care! Oh and they fixed the AC too ! Original: Came in to try this place out as I was curious. Got the poutine with chicken. I asked them not to drench it in BBQ sauce rather make a poutine as alot of these places cheap out and instead of fries, gravy and curds they drown it in sauce like BBQ. And sure enough they did. I wasn't impressed with their poutine. Hardly any fries, chicken, non existent gravy and curds. After waiting 15 minutes...mind you there's no dine in as their AC wasn't working.

I recently visited Lokma Desserts after a fun session of virtual golf with the family, and it turned out to be a delightful experience! We were craving something sweet and savory, so we decided to explore what Lokma had to offer. We started with the Nutella Banana and Explosion desserts, and let me tell you, they did not disappoint! The Nutella Banana was a perfect blend of rich, creamy Nutella paired with fresh bananas, all wrapped up in a warm, fluffy pastry. It was indulgent yet balanced, and every bite was a comforting reminder of childhood treats. The Explosion, With its mix of flavors and textures, it was like a party in my mouth! Both desserts satisfied our sweet tooth and left us wanting more. For something savory, we also ordered the chicken and fries. The chicken was baked to perfection, juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside, making it a great contrast to the sweetness of the desserts. The fries were seasoned just right, adding a nice touch of flavor that complemented the chicken well. Overall, Lokma Desserts is a fantastic spot for a late-night snack. Whether you're in the mood for something sweet, like their amazing desserts, or looking for a savory bite, they have you covered. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, making it a great place to unwind after a fun activity. I can’t wait to go back and try more of their menu!

I have so many mixed feelings! I’ve ordered twice now through UberEats, same order both times: Kogo + Explosion Lokma. The “Explosion Lokmas” are fabulous! They’re sooo good, and I will definitely order again. That said, I think they’re overpriced. It’s fried dough, but $11 +fees on uber lol. The “Kogo” I get as Hotdog + Mozzarella. The hotdog tastes not good lol, not sure why and/or if I should be concerned. Overall the Kogo is good though, and I love the Algerian Sauce (I’m a sucker for spicy mayo). That said, also way overpriced. Especially as someone who frequents Korean Corndogs. Now, the main issue is that they take SO LONG to fulfill any order. I’ve seen the in-person reviews with the same. I’ve had delivery drivers take my order, then cancel because they’re at the store waiting so long. I order two fried items…? Advice is to work on the timing of order and operations. So, mixed reviews because it tastes good enough (love lokmas), but way overpriced & poor service. ***UPDATE: I went to place an order in person, same thing I always do. Staff are super pleasant, but oh my god, 35 minute wait for 8 lokmas and a kogo. That’s insane 😭

Honestly if there was a way to give 0 stars, I would have chosen that. Everything at this location was horrible (staff, food quality, customer service). Lokma and Bergham have amazing product lines but the staff are doing everything in their control to ruin the brand and the image. When we reached the store nobody attended to us (and others who were coming to the store) or even greeted us. After several minutes someone came to the front finally to give an update to another customer who already paid and then they finally greeted us. We were told right off the get go, that the Lokma orders will need at least 25 mins to make. I was not in a rush so I agreed to paying for my order and then picking up the food after 20 mins and that Bergham was not taking orders. Other customers who were waiting got upset and left the store. I ordered the Lokma (Cappuccino Crisp) and the Corn Dog (half chicken and half cheese). I came back after more than 45 mins, only to find a lot of customers waiting and again no staff available to greet customers or even provide updates to those picking up. Then after a long wait someone finally came with my order. The Lokma was horrible (chewy and barely any sauce) and definitely didn't taste like cappuccino or KitKat like they advertised. If you want good Lokma there are much better options out there that give you high quality food for similar price points. The corn dog was the biggest waste of money. It was neither seasoned nor were we provided with any sauces. The amount of hotdog in the corn dog was an embarrassment. You can buy a pack of hotdog at the grocery store for less than $3, but for paying $7 for one corn dog and barely getting 2 small pieces of hotdog is pathetic. The cheese quantity was fair but other than that it was just deep fried bland dough that we were eating. Please avoid this branch until the franchise takes ownership of this location to get...
