We started getting their chicken 65 biryani 4 months ago on a regular basis, and got a bucket yesterday as well. The biryani tasted nothing like the usual taste, was distinctly tasteless (my son who usually likes it found it off putting as well). We suspected that the chicken might have gone bad, which is why it tasted flat. Next morning all 3 of us have stomach flu symptoms with dehydration, motions, bloating, nausea and weakness, that we could trace to only this dish since we had no other food items in common. We called the restaurant to ask them to check and all they said is that it isn’t their issue. This is only the second time in 5 years that we have reported hygiene issues to a restaurant, and this restaurant’s response left us in complete distaste. We have a bucket of biryani to throw and a restaurant to boot from our list of regular takeout restaurants. Not to complain about the sticker shock from the 25% price hikes recently (that’s the owner’s prerogative if they have staffing issues, or if they are already affected by Trump tariffs), but if consumers also have to pay for stomach flu medication, it most certainly is not value for money. Response from restaurant was dismal, especially given that it was a health issue (which is the most critical complaint that a restaurant can get). Please eat at your own risk, especially if you have a...
Read moreI called the restaurant 15 minutes before arriving and was told that the dining area was full. However, when we got there, the place was empty. Despite this, when we asked to dine in, the hostess informed us they weren’t accepting dine-in guests due to “some issues” something she could have clearly mentioned over the phone.
What made the experience worse was her behavior. She and her colleague were laughing and whispering while looking at us, making us feel very uncomfortable and disrespected. She even called someone from the kitchen just to look at us. Being South Indian, I understood what they were saying, though they clearly assumed I wouldn’t.
Because of this unprofessional and unkind treatment, we decided to eat in our car. While the food itself is good, the staff’s attitude and hospitality were extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning. Respect and customer service matter just as much...
Read moreWe usually order take away as we reside close by to the restaurant. We LOVE their Andhra chicken curry. It is truly ANDHRA!! It’s spicy and has a great balance of flavours. I crave this curry often because it’s so yummmy and sometimes we just order the curry and make some fluffy hot rice at home. We have enjoyed their combo3 and 4 often. It’s just about enough for 2 average eating people. There’s something very sweet about them that I have to mention. Whenever we order just one item let’s say the Andhra chicken curry or some starter, they give us some free rasam. I find it to be very kind and thoughtful!! We are hardcore non vegetarians so couldn’t really provide any info about their veg items. But I’m sure it’s just as tasty as their non veg food. The staff are polite. Highly...
