This restaurant is in main campus of University of Toronto and it appears, it is mostly geared towards catering students.
Firstly, locating the restaurant was an ordeal. Even inquiring with fellow university students yielded no clues about its whereabouts. To my surprise, it's tucked away underground, and despite passing by it countless times, there were no signs or billboards to indicate its name or presence.
Anyway, after nearly 20 minutes of searching (following posted pictures of other Google review), I finally stumbled upon this restaurant, only to be greeted by disappointment – it was closed (on Weekdays). There were no signs or posters, even on Google Maps, displaying its opening and closing times.
Frankly, I'm puzzled by what other individuals find so remarkable about this establishment. Based on my experience, it appears to definitely offers terrible service and I assume their food could only be described as average, despite their claims of serving authentic Indian cuisine. I have seen terrible places and this restaurant gives the same vibe.
In conclusion, my visit to this restaurant left me thoroughly unimpressed, and I would caution anyone expecting even an average dining experience.

Read moreRefused to use my UofT meal plan bucks because machine was "broken", despite having yourself listed as a place that accepts dining dollars on UofT's Food and Services Website. Please stop making false advertisement and remove yourself from the list.
So I asked to have a container to share food with my friend and they charged me 75 cents for a container. YOU CHARGE ME BECAUSE YOUR MACHINE IS BROKEN??? It's YOUR machine that's broken!!! Keep in mind, I pay $20K tuition at UofT and $800 something for incidental fees and you charge me for a 75 cents container - unbelievably ridiculous.
I understand that your containers are compostable which does cost more, but please have some kind of compensatory mechanism to make up for the misleading info you are giving on an official website - that is only quality service, unless you don't consider yourself as such, which I would be totally...
Read moreThis is more Indian-inspired than authentic Indian, but that’s cool since it’s the least greasiest Indian food around. Items that are gluten free and vegan are marked which is very helpful and this is the only Indian restaurant I’ve seen which does that. I had curried mixed veg and lentils, both in size small which was good for one large meal. Lentils were French green instead of typical red but the dish was ok. For a gluten-free vegan, there isn’t tons of choice but I’d order again as food was decent, the ordering process was easy due to labelling and for the lack of grease in the food!
Ps I added the fresh tomato in my pic of the food. I’d love if they added some themselves along with fresh...
