Wild Wing — Restaurant in Toronto

I was disgusted at my visit yesterday. Upon arriving at 645pm our table had a bones bucket still at the table with flies over it. We moved it to another table. The table was sticky. There were two servers. No one approached us for 20 minutes. Then one server took our drinks order. She did not return for 15 minutes. Then when she brought drinks for 3 people she took another 5 minutes to bring drinks for the other 3 people. When she gave all the drinks we decided to quickly make our order for 50 wings and some appetizers. She took our order then immediately forgot and said let me bring a notepad. Came back after 5 minutes. Took our order of 50 wings and some appetizers and more drinks as it already took this long. We quickly went back to her and said actually cancel our food order we want to leave. She insisted that’s impossible because order was already punched in. So we decided to stay. She left after she served us our wings. After eating we ordered more drinks. At 930 another server comes to our table and said your bill is very high so you should pay it i couldn’t imagine it being more than $350 so i told her thats fine we wont have an issue paying. She said well I’m just saying it’s very high now she assumed we cant afford it?? She comes back with a bill and said by the way i don’t know if the other girl told you but you are considered a party so we automatically charged you gratuity! They added some $53 more to our bill and claimed we are a party to which i said where is that policy written on your menu on a wall at the entrance? It was nowhere and she said i have been a server for years and this has been a wild wing policy. I have never seen that a group of 6 is called a party anywhere. Thats a casual night out. And we have even gone to other wild wing locations and this is not enforced. She said if you don’t like it call my boss. The number she gave didn’t even go through! So we paid our order and gave her the tip in cash. When i gave her my Black Metal Credit Card she made a weird face. I am a Real Estate Broker and was taking my sales team and ground team for some drinks. Then my friend felt bad for her because she was complaining about us to her other customers so my friend offered to give her more cash but she yelled at him and said you guys are very rude and i don’t want anything from you so we all left. Very strange rude and condescending behaviour from the El Salvadorian girl as well as the other girl who originally served us. Will not return here and recommend others to...

Really sad to have to write this because I'm usually pretty happy with this place.

Asked for Cajun Wings with the Gar Par sauce on some fries, asked if it could be just garlic, NO CHEESE DUE TO ALLERGY. Girl taking my order ASSURED me that yes, it could be done. (If it couldn't I would have just changed my order). After getting home after a long day and I'm super hungry I open the fries to see they're covered with cheese and I'm mad as hell because I went over this with the server on the phone several times that I have an allergy.

Tried calling back the restaurant SEVERAL times after getting home but they refused to pick up. I tried calling for an hour. When they did pick up the ONE time, they pretended that it was the wrong number and hung up, even though I called the number that's displayed right here !!!! Fries ended up getting cold before anyone picked up, so I couldn't even go back to return them if I could. Do plan on calling today and letting them know.

When I paid the server did not give me back my change - the tip was much bigger than I thought was necessary and didn't realize she didn't give me back my tip - she handed me the food and went away.

Wings were Lazily seasoned - one side of half of my chicken was completely unseasoned.

Lazy work, Wild Wings. You were so good to me but it seems we need to break it off. I want my money...

Horrible experience. I go to wild wings regularly all around Toronto and this location is usually my go-to since it’s close to where I live.

I went for the half off wings Tuesday today and the server said I have to get a drink (which is always the case). No problem. When I asked for the dip and veggies that comes with my meal she said they are no longer included in the Tuesday special. No problem.

Towards the end of my meal I asked for a refill of gingerale and she came out a few minutes later saying sorry you can no longer get refills on Tuesdays either. I asked to speak to the manager. She went in the kitchen and came back out saying the manager isn’t here but all wild wings changed three weeks ago. I asked her to show me where these new rules were written, she said she will ask the manager to write it in the future. I called two other locations while I was sitting there and asked about these new rules, they said they never heard of it. I mentioned that to both servers and they said sorry the manager will get angry if they refill my glass.

After reading the reviews on google this all makes sense. The manager of this location is clearly doing his own thing unlike all other wild wings. I hope management changes soon. Until then, stay away from...
