If I could rate 0 stars I would. This place had the absolute worst service I have ever received from a restaurant or fast food location before. You advertise a family pack for 19.98 and an option to upgrade another 10 pack of nuggets and large fries for 5$ extra. But NOBODY could get this to work. I spent 10 minutes in the drive through while the poor kid tried to get it to work to the correct pricing (kept coming up between 28 and 32$). Even had his manager try to help him but he said she couldn't get it to work either. I asked if she could just override it manually to work as per the giant outside sign advertising this and he told me she was not willing to do this even though she could. So I asked to talk to the manager and had to go inside. So I had to wait out through the drive through line and go through to park, wait again in line inside to see an order clerk. Again I asked for the same deal where the poster is literally posted beside the computer where she is ringing it in for me. And they are unable to make it work for 25+ Tax. The manager comes over and says what's the problem, its 28.85. I told her that is not what 25+ Tax equals. And she argued with me! About math! Then she said it was my fault because they had added some extra fries to my order, took those off, and then it was 25.14 after tax (still not the 25+ Tax) although now I dont have the large fries which the deal states my medium shouldve been upgraded to. After she did this she immediately ran away to the back and I couldn't even talk to her again. This is where I decided to just finish the order and bring some food home to my family (I had spent 25 minutes so far trying to get this to work). Paid the 25.14 for medium fries instead of large, I can live (although the principle of it still is wrong). Then I got my order #. I had to wait 9 minutes for the food!!! How can 4 burgers, 10 nuggets, and 2 fries take that long? As I watch all of the drive thru orders getting filled and bagged while I waited. Was I being punished? I seriously hope you look into this blatant lack of service and customer care and do something with this feedback I am giving you. This was from 638pm to 713pm on Feb 27, 2019. As a cherry on the top another customer complained to the staff that the washroom was extremely dirty and to tell the manager. They did nothing about this during the time I was waiting for my food. Clearly you dont care about...
Read moreSo, its McDonalds. The food is… McDonalds. I go to this McDonalds probably far too often. Chicken Nuggets are one of the few things I can reliably get my daughter to eat in a timely manner, so we are kind of stuck. Anyways, in recent months I’ve noticed a distinct fall in service standards at this McDonalds. Only rarely do they actually get my oder right. Have to repeat myself 5 times at the drive thru speaker (On what planet does “Water” sound like “Apple Juice”?), and they still get it wrong and seem offended when you correct them. Almost every time I have to pull forward at the drive thru, and multiple times they’ve forgotten about me. Once they even served my wife raw chicken. Today though was the absolute worst experience. I decided, just for fun I’d order some “McHappy Day” socks. I’ve learnt the hard way to always check my order for common screw up points before I let the attendant walk away from the car. Anyways, they forgot my socks. I told them as much, and they went and got me my socks. Great, no problem screw ups happen. Then they asked to see my receipt before they would hand me my socks. I’m sorry, I’m not used to being treated like a liar. If I wanted to scam McDonalds there are 100 easy ways I could do it. (Easiest would be to stash food already delivered at the window and claim I didn’t get it), your incompetence doesn’t give you the right to treat me like a liar. I’m not going to steal charity socks. When I questioned the staff member “well its our policy”. Well, its a bad policy. Customers don’t like being treated like criminals. Who knew. When I phoned and spoke with a manager, it was again “well its our policy”. Calling something “policy” doesn’t make it right. If they want to verify something was paid for, surely they have access to recent receipts in store, check those and don’t insult your customer. (Although frankly if they missed charging me for it, that is their incompetence, and not evidence that I’m trying to cheat them). Got home, and found out they screwed up a second time in the order and...
Read moreThe single worst service i have ever gotten at any restaurant in my entire life. I waited almost 20 minutes not at peak hours only to find out they forgot my order and started serving people who had ordered after me.
The manager was near constantly shouting at the kitchen staff to "double your orders" and shouted at everyone to get back to work the second i got in. at least twice she went in the back and angrily shouted "what the f- are you doing?" once the front guy figured out my order was forgotten he put it together in 5 seconds.
I would be giving one star but i added an extra star because they screwed up and gave me double the amount of food that i paid for, as they gave me an extra sausage and egg mcmuffin and a breakfast burrito. I am amazed that such a mistake could be made when he was putting my order together by reading my receipt in one hand. beyond all belief i somehow did actually get the two items i...
