A Total Disappointment

If I could give zero stars, I would. I recently visited this establishment of mucho burrito at cochrane and had an absolutely atrocious experience. Arriving before their advertised closing time, I was shocked and appalled to find that they refused to serve me. Despite the fact that the restaurant was still open, the staff rudely informed me that the kitchen was already closed, and no food would be provided. And above that when I ask him if he’s the owner, he said YES which I highly doubt he is because no owner of any business will be ready to loose any coming business. He literally said when there is no customer then what you want me to do, sit idle inside the store and waste my time. Wow, the who are we, CUSTOMERS OF COURSE. I also mentioned that online and even on your door it says open till 9 pm. He lied to my face that it’s 8:30 pm everywhere and I had to show him on google about his own time. Then he also argued that do all businesses have to update always if they’re closing early. And I said yes business do update their hours or at least put notice at the door that they’re closing early, rather than being rude to it’s own customers.

We are also the owners of couple of restaurants and if we say we serve till TEN then it means we serve till our said hours, no matter what the situation is, and sometimes even after our closing hour if customer is present there before we close our doors. That is how you treat your customers with respect.

This kind of customer service is completely unacceptable. A restaurant that can’t honor its own operating hours clearly has no respect for its patrons. I won't be returning and strongly advise others to avoid this place at all costs. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration and choose a restaurant that actually values...

I've eaten here a few times and had a few less than positive experiences. The last time made me drop this place from 5 to 3 stars though. I ordered a veggie quasadiea and they only offered rice, beans, jalapeños, and cilantro for toppings. Literally thats all. so I made a pretty anemic meal with those offerings, they even fought me on adding chickpeas because chickpeas aren't technically a topping for veggie quasadiea and only agreed to not charge extra for those because I didn't want any sause, not any corn though, that would be goingtoo far....then I'm eating this thing and I'm like where are all the grilled veggies I remember from when i ordered the chicken one? Only after asking them again did they inform me that I have to request items they don't have out or offer at the time if I want them.... so they don't mention you have to ask specifically for veggies they dont offer you as you're ordering your veggie quasadiea. Now I'm stuck with a veggie quasadiea with literally no veggies because they only offered a few toppings when actually ordering the thing. Brilliant. In the past too they've always been funny about adding one extra topping even though I relinquish the sause, they try to ask for more money for one extra topping even though you're not getting the other ones it would come with....it's not that the food is even bad, this place could be great, but how this location deals with toppings upsets me. Big shout out to the staff at Mucho Burrito Cochrane, especially Farad. I placed a large order over the phone for my daughter's birthday and Farad was the one who took my order. He was very patient and made sure to go over everything with me. Upon pick up of my order, everything was organized and sorted by GF orders, kids meals, regular sized meals, drinks and condiments. The food was delicious and my daughter and her friends were very happy. It is pretty hard to please a bunch of 8 year-olds, but there were no complaints. Farad even took the time to go out of his way and send me a message to check in and ask how everything was. Him and his team at Mucho Burrito Cochrane truly care about the customer experience and making you happy! We would definitely order from here again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone else who just needs a quick meal or is looking for catering. The one and only drawback was that they were not able deliver to me as they are short-staffed and didn't have anyone that day, so I had to pick up the order myself. It wasn't a big deal for me though and the amazing customer service certainly...
