Just found out the staff here don’t even get the tips. That’s not just bad business—that's a violation of basic work rights. These workers show up, get treated like garbage, and still get their earnings stolen? The customer service is already terrible, and management walks around like they’re above everyone—especially the younger women on staff. It’s toxic, degrading, and completely unacceptable and unbearable at this point ! Do NOT tip. Until they fix this, they don’t deserve our money or our respect. PERIOD !
Reply to the response- People who are fine with tips not being paid are often the same ones who’ll help cover it up. I don’t expect accountability from those who were never acting with integrity to begin with. That said, not my monkey, not my jungle doesn’t apply here. As a proud Canadian, I believe it’s my responsibility to call out corruption and exploitation when I see it. I chose to speak through online reviews — others, more informed or outraged, may choose legal routes. Either way, if you're not stealing these children’s tips, then you have nothing to worry about. But tell me — when was the last time you actually paid them what they earned? You may not be answerable to me, but I have a feeling someone, someday, will dig deeper into what’s...
Read moreThis DQ is absolutely horrible! I had tried this place a few years ago and I gave it 2 stars... now it is down to 1 star! 👎The food was awful and the portion of gravy you get for dipping is a ridiculous joke! It is barely a tablespoon of gravy in a tiny container (manager says it is 1oz)! And when I asked for a bigger container of gravy, I had to pay $1.05 to get a slightly bigger (2oz) one which was equally ridiculous! I'd also ordered a 4 pc Chicken Strip Basket... I got a bunch of TINY and hard as rocks pieces of Chicken Strips instead of 4 actual normal sized Chicken Strips! If you tried to bite the pieces you could end up with broken teeth in fact! When I took the food back in to get a refund the manager Robyn did apologize and give me my refund, however, his explanation was that the Franchise reduced the size of all "dips" and "gravy" due to inflation raising their costs... and the Chicken Pieces was the fault of "suppliers". What ever the reasons, this is unacceptable and is a for sure rip off for customers! Please see attached photos of both the gravy containers and...
Read moreDear dairy queen aldergrove, I have literally gone to dairy queen for the last 7+ years in surrey and they would offer my dog the smallest sample size. I relocated to this small city and actually love it, however I am appalled you do not honour this amazing ability during hot summer days with 35 degree heat. I spend 12$ on ice cream and your cashier almost looks instantly rude when I ask for a puppy sample, let me educate you EX: starbucks offers a free dog treat, any if all liquor stores offer dog treats, most restaurants usually provide a water dish outside, any grocery store does the same but I ask for a morsel of ice cream and i have to ask to be charged just to get it. Yes it's a furry animal but I bet you offer children free sundaes or cones of ice cream, AS IF ICE CREAM COSTS SO MUCH that your cashier needs to charge me almost the cost of my actual treat just to be so frikken petty. What sets your establishment apart from any other place, clearly your customer service needs some love and more of an open mind on humanity. Such a...
