Hey, check this out for a non-paid for legitimate review! I was really excited for Firehouse to come to Canada as I was a big fan of theirs when I lived in Colorado. I went against the grain of my usual meatball and got the barbecue brisket. The sandwich itself was incredibly filling and packed with a ton of meat. For $20 I believe you do get what you’re paying for. Tasty, A+. The food is as advertised. The service started out great. The cashier, Twinkle, was polite, courteous, and made you aware of anything and everything you could have added to your sandwich. Great work from her. However, I did have to wait over 10 minutes for my sandwich and I very clearly wasn’t the only person waiting as another customer had to tell staff that he was still waiting to be served, and that someone after him had gotten their sandwich before him. Also, the whole greeting of customers is nice in practice, but gets old really fast. I can only imagine how soul crushing that must be to do all day and when you’re waiting a long time for your sandwich and more people keep coming in, it gets annoying. By far the worst part, and what almost made me not come in, was the insane amount of paid-for reviews the owner got for this location. Don’t reply to me and tell me they’re not paid, they are. It’s super cringey and I think the place would have developed a fine rating had you just let it be rated on its own merit but now you’ve got this awful fake stench about the place that will only turn people away. In closing, great food, middling experience, awful facade.

Warning: Do not use their website to place your order for a meatball sub or they will make it without meatballs. I placed a pick up order at Firehouse Subs for the first time today with a couple coworkers. The Langley location is 15 minutes away from my office, but I decided it was worth the 30 minute drive to try them out as I had heard such good things. When I got back to my office we found that our two meatball subs had NO meatballs on them. What?! So I had to spend another 30 minutes driving there and back to get this rectified. When I told them what had happened they didn't seem surprised that I had come back and instead of apologizing said "meatballs didn't print on the chit". I will attach a photo of the chit that states meatball sub, I think this is self explanatory. I used their online order system and I did not remove meatballs from the sub. Who would order a $20 sandwich with just marinara sauce and cheese on it?! If they were this confused by the order, a phone call to clarify would have been the obvious solution. Instead, I wasted my time and lunch break driving around and they didn't offer ANY way of making it up to me beyond remaking the subs the way they should have been made in the first place. The subs are delicious (when complete), so it's a shame the service doesn't match that.

🥪 First time trying Firehouse Subs! 🚒 Honestly, it turned out way better than I expected! The price is pretty much the same as Subway, but the quality and flavors are on a whole other level ✨ The bread was perfectly toasted and crispy, and the fillings were super generous the ham, cheese, veggies, and sauces all came together so well. What surprised me most was the variety of options. They have way more combinations than Subway, so you can really customize your sandwich without it ever feeling boring. The place is also super clean even the kitchen area looked neat and organized, which made the experience even better! The staff were really attentive and professional too. From ordering to pickup, everything was smooth, and you can tell they take pride in their service. Plus, they stay open pretty late, which makes it a perfect spot to grab something good after a long day. Overall: ✅ Affordable about the same price as Subway ✅ Better taste and quality ✅ Lots of options and generous fillings ✅ Clean and tidy environment ✅ Friendly, attentive, and professional service I’ll definitely be coming back again to try more flavors next time 😋

disrespected. Wet and soggy sandwiches

My partner came home with our online order and discovered that the brownies hadnt been given. I called the resturaunt and was told "he didn't ask for them and we didn't check the recipt because it was busy" she also told us to come back and pick them up or ask for a refund through the website because it was an online order. it seems they don't even start making the online order until the customer arrives either. "Avoid the wait order online"? (Hence their website) It was an hour round trip and we live 10 minutes away from the location. My partner let me know that it was not very busy in there at all when he arrived to the resuraunt. The sandwiches are also very soggy and wet very messy and difficult to eat. Yes maybe he forgot that we ordered brownies but the resuraunt needs to take responsibility and check the orders when they are giving them to their customers. It was not fair to be blamed for the mistake by the employee over the phone for something that could be easily done. Felt very disrespected by the employee. Applied for a refund for the brownies. (The robot on the website offered us POINTS towards food. Hell no!!. Went through to a person and have been told because they are independently owned they cant give us a refund over the internet... so the employee didnt know that?) Not wasting more time to pick them up. I usually read reviews on a new place before eating there but I was reccomended this place by people who went to a different location. Guess you can't assume all locations will be the same right. After reading the reviews it really sounds like the staff need extra training in hospitality, food management, and customer...
