Gateway Pizza — Restaurant in Township of Langley

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. First, when I went to pick up my order, the staff initially told me the total was $64. I requested an itemized receipt, and the employee said she couldn’t provide one. When I asked if it was legal not to give a detailed receipt, she brought someone else who was incredibly rude and unprofessional. He started speaking in Hindi to the person I was with, which felt very disrespectful since I was the one asking the questions.

All I wanted was a breakdown of the prices, but instead, he scribbled nonsense on a piece of paper and called it a receipt. When I pointed out that their online prices didn’t match what I was charged, he brushed it off, saying online prices are different. This feels dishonest and misleading.

To top it off, the pizza tasted awful, and the wings were stale. Overall, terrible service and terrible food. I won't be coming back, and I wouldn't recommend this...

Tried Gateway Pizza in Langley recently, and overall, it was a mixed experience. The pizza was quite good, with a nice crust, generous toppings, and a balanced blend of flavors. It had that satisfying, fresh-out-of-the-oven taste that you hope for when ordering pizza.

However, the side dishes were a letdown. I ordered the paneer tikka and fish pakora, but unfortunately, they didn’t live up to expectations. The paneer tikka lacked flavor and didn’t have the rich, smoky taste I was hoping for. The fish pakora felt a bit dry and wasn’t as crispy or seasoned as I would have liked.

HORRIBLE PLACE!!!!! Tried several times over the course of two weeks to order samosas and every time it’s the same excuse; our cook isn’t in. One time they took my order then called back while I was driving to pick up to say there were no more. Absolutely horrible customer service. They can’t even get themselves a good phone to take orders.it’s like they are taking calls while next to an industrial microwave. Nothing but static. They had to call me back 3 times before I could make out anything they were saying. Turns out they were calling to say they had no food left for me even though they took my order 10 minutes earlier. This place isn’t worth the trouble. Garbage....
