When I’ve been here in the past it’s been pretty good. The last 5-ish months they’ve been out of their chicken shawarma which has been disappointing.
The staff that works here are very nice and friendly, but they need more help on during lunch hours. It gets busy and you can end up waiting 20-30 minutes. Don’t go here if you’re in a rush.
It’s a particular hot day today (30°) and it’s hotter inside the restaurant. It was extremely uncomfortable standing around waiting, felt like they were blasting the heat. Can’t really blame it on the sun coming through the window, didn’t even feel like they had any A/C on at all to help. Not really fair to the employees to work in that heat all day, let alone have dine-in customers. They’re nice and generous with their toppings, so no issue there. But I don’t know if the heat was contributing to this or if they just didn’t change it out or if it was actually bad, but the romaine lettuce was very brown and wilted. So I opted for the iceberg lettuce even though I know I would have preferred romaine, but even the iceberg lettuce was a bit wilted. Kind of threw off the taste of the pita.
Hoping this is a one off and hoping it will be just as good as I remembered...
Read moreTonight I want to talk about the great experience I had at Pita Pit at Langley. Man I don’t usually write reviews and this kind of stuff but this place deserves it. Second time I visit the store. First good, this time extraordinary. But how? Incredible experience in a fast food restaurant? Ahh, Maybe this guy who writes has a low standard… my friend I am a Swiss Chalet frequenter. Tonight all the Kudos go to Talu, the server. She did an excellent job, my chicken Kebab was amazing. It is hard to be in a good mood at 8:45 pm on a Wednesday, however Talu was transmitting a great energy. I’ve been there… used to be a sandwich artist in Toronto, GTA feelings. One more time Thanks Talu/PIta Pit (I trust this is the correct spelling)
PS: I was going to Montanas for the all you can eat ribs. This time no...
Read moreI ordered a size regular rice bowl with chicken shawarma with a regular size chocolate banana smoothie and wow! The two girls were helpful and friendly with answering my questions and how to order. The meat was grilled with green peppers and mushroom while my bowl was stacked high with fresh veggies. I got some decent sized scoops of guac, humus, and tzatziki, yum! The meat with the shawarma sauce was delicious but I wish there was more however the meat portions were already pre-portioned out. The chocolate smoothie was thick and not overly sweet. For under $25, I am impressed that there was enough to adequately satiate both me and my partner with just a single bowl and smoothie. Overall, I am quite satisfied with...
