The place has a very judgyand posh vibe, making it feel a bit uncomfortable. The staff seems more focused on the high-end atmosphere than making guests feel at ease. The food didn’t justify the prices at all. For the amount charged, the portions were ridiculously small. While small servings can sometimes be about quality, these just felt like they were cutting corners. The food wasn’t even that good—definitely not up to the standards you’d expect from a place charging these prices. The dishes lacked flavor and didn’t seem particularly well-executed. For a place trying so hard to be upscale, the overall experience felt pretty underwhelming. The prices should reflect both quality and portion size, but here, it was more about the “fancy” presentation than actual value. If you’re looking for a meal that’s filling, flavorful, and reasonably priced, this isn’t the place. There are plenty of other spots where you’ll get better food and a more relaxed vibe without feeling like you’re being judged for not fitting into the “scene.” Overall, not worth the...
Read moreCeliacs, beware: this place is dangerously misleading. Despite advertising itself as “gluten free,” none of the food is actually safe for people with celiac disease. I asked the server why they promote gluten-free options when they use shared fryers and contaminated prep surfaces. Her response? “It’s gluten free enough for some people.” That’s not just dismissive, it’s reckless.
To make matters worse, I requested almond milk and was served oat milk that wasn’t certified gluten free. When I raised concerns, the staff acted like I was being unreasonable for expecting “gluten free” to mean actually gluten free. The service was cold, literally. It was 9°C outside, and they left the front door wide open, making the entire dining experience physically uncomfortable.
If you have celiac disease or any serious gluten sensitivity, this place is not safe. Their labeling is misleading, their staff uninformed, and their attitude toward dietary restrictions downright negligent.
to your reply: you ADVERTISE gluten free options that are NOT gluten free,...
Read moreAs a customer of fig far before I became a part of the team, I have long been a fan of the made-in-house feel-good food. I love how incredibly healthy dishes like the House Fig salad, Harvest bowl, and OG hummus wrap leave you feeling satisfied and your body fueled. These handmade options are packed full of good-for-you foods like beats, spinach, and seasonal fruits and veggies. The team at fig is welcoming, kind and supportive. I have personally seen how the chefs go out of their way time and time again to accommodate those with dietary restrictions. Those who are GF, DF, vegetarian and vegan have a home here. The meat options they have are locally sourced and extremely high quality.
